Paul Martin is out for the Pens tonight, just a heads up.

Sign Guy was on TSN Radio this morning and it did my heart good to hear him call Crosby a whiny weasel and to say that everything Flyer fans have known about him for years was shown on national tv!

Seems like they might double shift their 1st and 2nd lines with their 3rd sprinkled in and their fourth line will hardly play. if that happens I expect a third period blowout.

Tonight's play should answer some questions about this teams play. I really hope Bryz steps up tonight and we never give them a chance.

Just play tough, nothing dirty because I would expect a big change in approach if someone like Rinaldo was in the uncomfy chair in Shanahan's office. Compete for every puck, be defensively responsible, and dig for the goals against Fleury.
No reason the Flyers cannot finish this tonight, with the unavailable Penguins. But they had better not expect the Penguins to roll over; it's going to be a hard-fought game.

I think the Pens are going to be coming at Philly really hard at the start. Weather the storm and grind them down!

I'd imagine they'd get rid of Lovejoy before Martin though.

So after the Flyers have this game in hand, can they send Rinaldo after Letang?

Nah. I'd like to keep Rinaldo for extra rounds if we get there.

Didn't he get smashed by a Flyer at one point in the game? I kind of recall an incident where he was checked pretty hard...

Nope, let them go quietly into the night and to hole #1. Let the anger and hate continue to rain down on the Pens while the Flyers get praised. Don't ruin it with thuggery tonight, we'll get payback next season.

Based on what happened in Game 3, the Torres hit yesterday and Chris Lee inexplicably being assigned to a playoff game, you know this one's going to be called uber-close. Make sure to play squeaky clean as the game starts.
