The Garden crown is not very original when it comes to chants. I consider that to be an amazing understatement.
I await being proven wrong.
The MSG crowd is unable to chant anything longer then four syllables. Want to hear some fun stuff? Go to a Red Bulls game. The have a bunch and they are all fun as hell.
I would love love love for the crowd at MSG to take a hint from the Red Bulls fans.
haha i told her it's not personal, i think she's gunna try to sneak in watching a period tonight. If Ott scores during the time she's watching with me i'm going to have to lock her out of the house.
NYR are 2-7 when my GF watches games with me.. which included game 2.
During our hot streak during the season, she was working on a mural in all her free time. Then during the late streak she was attending some technique painting classes at SVA and spending a ton of free time at the pottery studio.
Right now she doesn't have any single projects going and i'm scared ****less she'll be watching tonight's game. Sooooo I went proactive, and attempted to orchestrate her and her best friend get together for ribs and beers. I let him know flat out I need her not watching the game, and they never really hangout.
Our game tonight hinges on the appeal of Red Hook's Brooklyn Ice House baby backs and beer!

That or you could have someone call her pretending to be some art gallery asking her to paint something needed in 3 days...
This is so true, I talked about the whole Boyle face wash of Karlsson being a non-issue here but I guess they made huge to do about it. Incensing fans and I guess players to an extent.
Oh God, the whole Boyle/Karlsson incident was a travesty according to the Ottawa media. I mean, how dare Boyle do such a thing to the "greatest defenceman in the league"?
I mean, these are the same idiots who applauded Alfie shoothing the puck at Neidermeyer in 2007, saying Alfie was just trying to spark his team. If it had been the other way arounnd, their tune would've been much different.
I'm pulling for the Rangers to go all the way. Imagine what a kick in the nuts it would be to Ottawa is Hagelin won the Cup this year.

That would probably be the most cruel way to go about it. Like, leave a note on the fridge that someone from the Whitney called because they loved her collage and mixed media pieces at her last showing, and they wanted to know what she would do at the next Biennial. Then I enjoy the rest of the playoffs with her firmly planted on the bedroom floor, with headphones on.
Ultimate success yes. But that's definitely the path to the dark side.

Or you could just humiliate her. That's what I do to my wife if she ****s with my Ranger juju. Payback is a *****.
The Alfie Countdown isnt about Hagelin's hit on Alfie. Its actually more of a one more year kind of thing to our captian, I believe it started here on HF theres a thread about it on our board.
May the lovefest continue at Ottawa municipal golf course next week then.
Well done!
In other news, the Team1200 in Ottawa is still moaning about the Hagelin hit. Give it a rest already. You should've heard Sens fans voice their appreciation on air on Saturday night. A few hours of whining and complaining. Talk radio at its finest.
I hope NYR get back to the same form shown in the first game of the series. Light Anderson up for all he's worth (which isn't much). Since the Sens tend to not respect their opponents, the Rangers should use it to their advantage.
