That's more than I can say for Hossa value, about 3 good games
all year!!!! It should have been Hossa gone!!!!

Tom Renney wasn't a big fan of Nieminen's.Took too many penalties.Wasn't an agitator. The Rangers couldn't believe another team wanted to give up a 3rd and take his salary for next season-$700,000 in 2006-07

I wish the Flyers had traded one of our two 3rds for Nieminen. We just waived Turner Stevenson, and Nieminen would have slid nicely into our 3rd/4th line. He is the kind of guy who could fire us up and get under the opposing team's skin. And maybe score the odd goal or two in the playoffs. Good move for SJ, I guess. NYR making another deal?

The player that will be replacing him

is currently over in finland. The Korpedo is Broadway bound. We sign Neimo for nothin but $, turn around trade him for a 3rd rounder and replace him with one of our prospects. What is so hard to understand?

How so?

Ward, Betts, Moore, and Ortmeyer are KEY KEY KEY components to the Rangers. Way to show that you have never even seen them play this year with that snide comment.

There's a reason that Jed Ortmeyer was being heavily considered for the Team USA Olympic squad. He's one of the best 3rd liners in the GAME today and has shown it all season long. He's blocked more pucks than any player on the Rangers in years and just absolutely bleeds the blue that is on his jersey.

Dom Moore is in the exact same boat as Ortmeyer is. With those two on the ice, the PK is one of the best in the league -- bar none.

No way in hell he'd only cost a 3rd from the Flyers. At least a 2nd to a divisional rival. Especially the Flyers.

Worst trade ever in the eyes of this Flames fan. If Sharks/Flames meet in playoffs this will loom large.

Just a third rounder? Huh.

It was cool how Ville would sing along enthusiastically to the Canadian national anthem in the '04 play-offs.
