This team needs to stop playing TERRIFIED and start attacking them. Praying you hold small leads against an offensive team like this is ridiculous, especially when its not even late in the 3rd.

There is no excuse for this ****. It's been going on all year. Time to stop playing like a bunch of ****ing pu55ies and take control of the ****ing game.

Can someone explain why the high stick on Girardi wasn't 4 minutes? It completely changed the course of the game

Honestly? I didn't even see it and NBC sports made no mention of it. Camera zoomed in on Spezza right when he got hit and followed him running into the dressing room.

EDIT - was that not even when it was? I must have completely missed it then.

Refs are a factor since they scored as a direct result of a[nother] blown call.

Regardless. They sit back with a lead. Don't bury their chances. Give the point men all the time in the world. It's ridiculous.

The recurring problem all season. They... can't... score... when they need.

Horrible missed call. G is bleeding from a high stick. That's a double minor, you retard ref!

Still doesn't excise the fact that they spent the ENTIRE period in their end zone.

Win the period, win the game.

The Rangers need to work on some set breakout plays. They keep sending it up along the board and getting it trapped.

When you watch Boston and Detroit for example, they have a guy cruising through the middle, coming towards the board and the players there. So the guy that is along the board, half-way up the zone, can deflect it softly towards the middle, where someone's coming at full speed ready to carry it out of the zone. And they do very well with it.

The Rangers just keep tossing it up there and getting crammed in.

The Rangers played ****tily, no doubt.

But you can't dispute the fact that the refs missing an easy, obvious call contributed directly to the Sens' 2nd goal. That was an absolute gift to the Sens.

Rangers are getting beaten to pucks and outmuscled along the boards. They look exhausted while Ottawa looks like they have fresh legs. Even Cally looks like he's a step behind.

I still think the game would either be tied or they come away with the W, barely.

I would be okay with Spezza not coming back. I'm so tired of looking at his goofy mug grinning all the time. Crappy that they miss the high stick on Girardi and then the goal comes. Gotta play better... we haven't looked like the better team in the last two, maybe three games.

Probably a Yankee fan that cries when they don't win 12 straight.

Can't blame Henry, this team is flatter than 12 day old soda.

I guess we'll see what this team is made of in the 3rd period. Championship level teams step up in the face of adversity....the team just got hit with a haymaker in the 2nd. Do they have what it takes to get off the canvas and take back control of the fight.

We're getting straight up outclassed by an 8 seed that has one of its best players injured. Let's face it the Senators are the better team. This year was a fluke and we'll go back to be the 7 or 8 seed next year, since this year was an anomaly.

He definitely looks like he got hurt after he went down behind Anderson's net.

Even before the injury, hes been a pedestrian. If he doesnt wake up, people are going to start labeling him like Arod.
