If we had an offense even half of the Pens/Flyers coupled with our D and Goalie we'd be literary unbeatable

this is the thing that annoys me most about our team. no killer instinct.

I hope so, but the signs don't point in that direction right now.

This team has that same eerie feeling. Really enough is enough.

Garbage phantom calls against the Rangers that resulted in a garbage goal. Senator fans are right about 1 thing. Refs do suck, as usual. Bad calls everywhere...

Rangers stopped doing what they did in the first and what the Senators did in the 2nd: crowd the net, throw it in front, and SHOOT on the rebounds. They got too fancy, trying to get a perfect set up with waaay too many fancy passes. Senators took away their passing lanes, which resulted in ruined PPs. WTF are the Rangers thinking? Stop doing what worked for them in the first!?!

They need to wake the F up. Letting another game get away from them with stupid decisions and bad plays.

Intentional headshot by Staal according to Debbies fans.

And they do very well with it.

The Rangers just keep tossing it up there and getting crammed in.
This. I've seen squirt teams with better breakouts.

It's not that ridiculous. Tell me that we look like a 1 seed in the series. Especially the last two games. We don't even look like a playoff team. We've been dominated by a mediocre team. Completely dominated. Hank giving up a ****** goal didn't help either.

Mostly invisible and on the bench - but give him a break, it's his second game and it's the playoffs.

At least the Caps had a deep team.

Ottawa has one big line and Karlsson.

Gaborik going to disappear now after falling down. Guy vanishes the minute things get physical. 7+million for one goal in these playoffs.

I would be completely on board for signing Parise and trading Gaborik and Dubinsky.

How guys can disappear when the games get bigger is ridiculous.

That was this time of the year, in OT against the Pens.
Then later when a Pen was highsticked and had a minor cut they caught the double minor and the Pens won the game on the 4 min pp. If I was home I would upload a picture of it.

As for the Girardi high stick, I didn't even notice it till I saw the post here, then I barely saw it on the replay on NBC, pretty pathetic.

Rangers cant stay on their feet. Not winning battles.

Gaborik forgot how to shoot the puck...
Richards keeps trying the stupid "skate up the center of the ice" every damn shift...
Stepan has no one decent to pass to...
Mitchell is lazy on the backcheck and stops skating...
Cant win a faceoff...

If the play in NYR's own zone continues that way they will lose this game.

Why not just try to establish a strong forecheck? Usually a concerted effort to do that yields rewards.

Brian Boyle needs to put the team on his back like Greg Jennings.
