All of the Chicago talk makes we want to go to Luke's in Tucson and get the 2 Chicago Dogs with Fries special or maybe the Italian Beef Sandwich for that matter.
Glad to see Nashy is handling this like a champ and hopefully the police arrest the ******** responsible.
Hmmmm... that the same Luke's owner as the one at 16th St & Indian School? because they have the same items on the menu & the Chicago Dog is bonafide Vienna... I love the Italian Beef with the sweet peppers and extra gravy on the side.... some days I splurge & get one of those and the dog&fries to have something for a 4 o'clock leftovers snack...
and I grew up in Chicago, southside. Sox & Hawks ruled, Cubs sucked. Been in Phx since '78, so I've lived here longer than I lived there, but Chicago was my home. And there are buttheads everywhere you go - find a burg with more than 30 people in it, you're gonna find buttheads.
I'm not sure whether this is serious or not. If you are being serious, this is a dumb statement. If it was a joke, then haha
I agree it's a dumb statement but no dumber than you alluding that you wouldn't let your family go to Chicago because you think it'd put them in excessive danger.

Since it was on FSN+ your original thought is how did anyone find out about it. But when I was reading prohockeytalk (NBC website) they had a post about the comment and how absurd it was. So it must have gone viral after that. But at first, yes it did look clean. Then you see him on the ice and carted out and you have to revise your statement because he was carted out. He did exactly what I would have done if I was an announcer; but I am not.
PHT are either a bit on the soft/wuss side when it comes to this or they're just trolling for readers/reactions (a la Damien Cox of the Toronto Star). I went a few rounds with Joe from PHT today on Twitter about it and he said I was kind of defending Torres.
I then said take Torres out of the equation. What would the NHL do if this was Scott Stevens in his prime that did the hit on Hossa?
I thought it was clean too. Anyone want to threaten me? I'll also say that Chicago has it coming, Shaw deserved those three games, and for a fan base that loves to dish it out about other teams, they sure can't ever take it when it deservedly comes back to them, just to spice it up a little.
Tofu is awesome when it's made right, try it in a spicy Thai dish (at an actual Thai restaurant).
I found the tofu Pei Wei puts in their Pad Thai to be palatable, verging on tasty even, and this from someone who'd had nothing but unpleasant experiences with tofu in the past. Where does that rank on your "when it's made right" list, out of curiosity?
Back on topic, you know the hit was bad when even Don Cherry thinks it was excessive.
Having said that, it's been interesting to hear the remarks from some of the players about the spate of suspensions and media attention. It's almost like they don't understand what the big deal is. Sure, they know what the situation is in a factual sense, but Ray Whitney for example seemed a little befuddled as to why, after years upon years of savage postseason hockey, is it only now receiving so much scrutiny.

Well I've never had it there before but I'm guessing it'd rank in the middle of the list at best. Eating Thai at Pei Wei (or PF Chang's for that matter) is like eating Mexican at Taco Bell. It's not bad per say but it's not really indicative of Thai food either. Go somewhere like Sala (32nd St and Shea), that's a great place to try a dish with tofu or Thai in general!

They didn't have social media in the past (or at least not to this level) and I don't think the league has done a good job of managing that. They are bowing under the pressure of the mob mentality. It's like the ref who calls a penalty because the home crowd is crowing for it. As I mentioned in another post, the inmates are trying to run the asylum right now.
I actually like tofu. That was just an attempt at a joke.
Bacon wrapped dogs with mayo and cheese I've generally heard referred to as LA dogs, ghetto dogs, or Mexican dogs. If thats racist, don't blame me; I didn't name the damn things.

Hey, maybe he doesnt want to go anywhere he cant wear a torres or tyson nash jersey
I'd take Phoenix over Chicago everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Chicago is neck and neck with Detroit.
Thats fine thats where u live only makes sense that you would choose that. But saying chicago is neck and neck with detriot just shows that you have never been to either place. Detriot is terrible.
