Didn't people say that about this draft last year? I think it's a bit early to say that
Actually they say that every year '' that it's gona be a great draft''. But I remember when it was during the draft 2011 or just before they said that 2012 would be better. But I remeber saying to my buddies that 2011 would be a better one and deeper then 2012.
2013 will be as good if not better then 2003. Like any draftee of the top 30 of 2013 could be a top 10 in this year draft. The only thing I'll admit is that this year is a deeper draft for D's but soo weak on fowards. Also I believe this year will be one of the best draft for goalies in the last decade or so.
About my top 10 for 2012 and 2013 it would be the following;
1st. Nathan MacKinnon
4th. Sean Monahan
6th. Alex Galchenyuk
9th.Murray / Dumba
10th.Filip Forsberg/Elias Lindholm
2013 is a lot better and might be the best since 2003 and 2012 is 1 of the weakest in years. 2013 has great depth and is definitely forward heavy, complete opposite of 2012.
2012's top 10 is solid, but gets weak after that, but 2013 there's like 15 star players i'd say and still good depth after.
We heard that the 2012 draft was one of the deepest since 03 and now it is all of a sudden a weak draft year.. Hard to say at this time but it looks very promising with many very high end guys in Jones, Shinkaruk, Mackinnon, Barkov and others.
How's the European class looking for 2013? Any top end talent?
