Not sure if hockey discussion board....

...or cesspool of hate of frustration.

Amazing shot by Turris. *sigh* I'm confident this team will win the series though. Stay strong boys.

We have dominated the Senators this series, Dominated, Ottawa has not had 1 lead, and the series is 2-2. Well be fine.

You really need to watch the replay. I've seen you describe this goal incorrectly like 5 times now. It doesn't even go in from the shot, it was stopped and then went in off of a skate...

We can blame a lot on him and the team... But not his timeout, or lack thereof.
Where was the T.O. during Game 2? In Game 3? Yeah, Hank got the shutout, but we were on our laurels for the most part.

Yeah, he called it when we iced the puck and the Senators were creating pressure, but why couldn't he have done it earlier?

It's not a lack of pressure. It's an inability to overcome the speed of a less talented team who isn't really concerned with giving up odd man rushes.
When Stepan, Ansimov and Dubinsky aren't producing the rangers are subpar offensively. You just mark Gaborik and wait for your opportunities on Hank.

And a final point before everybody gets too overboard trying to find someone or something to blame...

It may be a blessing in disguise that this team faces controversy so easy. One of the problems with our previous playoff runs were that our opponents (Thrashers and Devils) were very poor in those respective years, and we were instantly hit with a great team after coasting through a series.

There will be no coating here. We will either lose now, or win and be stronger for it in the next round.

Now stop feeling sorry for yourselves.

The Dubi part, yes. The rest, no.

Never make trades in the heat of an OT loss.

They haven't had a lead because of Henrik. In reality, Ottawa has outplayed New York in two straight games.

Well, they have a long two days to ponder this loss. They better come out on fire on Saturday looking for blood. If they get the lead and start sitting back again, I will flip out.

Considering it looks like a F-5 tornado just came through my room and how my fellow fans here are reacting as well, cannot imagine what would happen if we lose this series to the ***king Sens.

If we ever needed a home win before, now is the time.

People just need to look at the difference between the way the Senators bring the puck up ice versus the Rangers. That has been advantage Senators, combined with the Rangers letting them come in. Often, the Senators pointmen have a clear 15 feet of free space around them to get creative.

wouldn't it be better to change that now, instead of looking back and talking about it later? I don't understand why this has not been changed.
The Rangers don't overpursue the puck in the offensive zone because they don't have the speed to do it. Plus, the Ranger d starts backing out of the zone the second the cycle breaks down.

The Ranger forwards drop too low in the defensive zone, and Ottawa's point men are taking full advantage.

The Rangers seem scared to death of Ottawa's speed.

The Canucks are also missing Daniel Sedin. Also the Canucks are playing a better team. Finally, I don't want to go by the standards of other teams. The Rangers have been dominated by an 8 seed without one of their best players, their best playoff performer, and captain. They look like they don't belong on the same ice as the Senators. The only this team team can do is block shots. Only thing they're good at. And the fact that they don't know how to clear they're getting a lot practice with it.

Completely agree with you. Yea the loss stings but by tomorrow morning well be over it. Game 5 is the biggest game of this series. We need to win it. If not then we can panic and say its over. But if we win either in 6 or 7 then i believe it will give us the mental preparation needed for the rest of the playoffs in how we need to play.

My biggest problem so far is how much we've backed into our own end. Yeah we've had some pushes but for the most part, we've been pinned.

That's what I don't like. They better come out for blood next game because mark my words, Alfie will be playing.

Excellent point. The playoffs aren't supposed to be easy. We're still in an as good or better position then all but Philly, Nash and LA

2. Hank choked. Say anything you want about it being a good shot, but a Superstar needs to have that.

3. We score 2 goals on the PP by getting the puck to the net…and then spend the rest of our PP time dicking around the perimeter like we have been doing all season. That is coaching and that is terrible coaching.

Unlike last year, if we blow this every single regular season accomplishment is meaningless. Time to get it together fast.
lol

you know who choked, the guy in your avatar, guy can't even get a shot on goal, leads to breakout as 3 guys are trapped deep, game over on whicked shot.

seems like everyone forgot the save henrik made on phillips, game was over in reg if he didn't make that save. you can only make so many game saving saves.

but keep on *****ing about hank, only guy on this team who you can depend on.
