Strong period. The 4th line was the best for the Kings.

Cory gives up a lot of rebounds. The kings need to drive the net more.

Just came in to say I'm rooting for you guys. Kings one of my favorite "other" teams. Would be a great second round if the Blues could meet you guys.

Good luck the rest of the night.

Our 4th line > every line the Canucks have. What a period from Nolan-Fraser-Richardson

As someone said before Schneider gives up a lot of rebounds. I suspect at least one garbage goal.

Mostly Williams and King.

They've been the worst two kings in the series. Too much stick checking by those two. They aren't driving through the puck. They are always reaching for it.

Still a strong period overall. Sutter has them well prepared.

I just frame by framed Kopitar's fall. I have no clue how he is possibly not injured. His leg goes in so awkwardly and looks like it gets bent in the wrong direction, practically did the splits on the boards too. If he really isn't injured, then we are extremely fortunate.

Seriously.

So many times he got 5-10 feet across the red line, and turn it over at the blue line instead of flipping it in deep.

Well, if we were playing the flyers we'd be up by 5 goals :/

Really good period. Keep that up the rest of the game and they will win.

The hockey gods have finally smiled upon us. Kopitar should have left the ice with a broken leg or ankle. I'm more happy about that than us winning this game. GO KINGS!!!!!!

I thought the 3rd line did just fine. I'd like to see them dump like you say more often. But I am okay with Penner trying to get across the line with speed.

Really it was a good period top to bottom, every line.

Even though Dwight King has trouble with the puck sometimes he certainly does cause havoc on the dashers and in front of the net. You gotta have guys like that.

Kings gotta clean up the play in their own zone. Also keep the foot on the pedal and keep throwing everything on net.

40 more minutes of that and it's the second round. Let's hope they don't let up.

Penner was just shy of the red line standing still. Two steps and he dumps it deep. Instead he tries a lazy ****ing pass to Stoll in the middle and turns it over. And then instead of getting back on D, he changed. That's ****ing unacceptable play from a guy like him.

Kings need to be ready in the second. Huge push coming from Vancouver.

Kings need to bury a rebound early.

Go Kings!

Like I said, i'll agree. But I respect the idea. The Kings have had a lot of success with that style of play coming across center ice. I think i've seen Richie and Carts do that quite a number of times. Kind of a give and go sort of thing. They have caught Van defensemen on the blue line flat footed a few times.

King did some good things out there, and as he was our worst player through 20 minutes, I have to say we're sitting pretty.

Mad props to Richardson for jumping in the lineup and doing exactly what a lot of us hoped for.

When he stayed down, I thought it was his groin; doing the splits unintentionally is not fun, to say the least. lol
