anyone who thinks we cant go far cuz its 2-2 with ottawa is ridiculous. nhl playoffs are a different animal. anybody can beat anybody. im sure youll find countless teams that struggled in the 1st round that went on to win the cup. this could be our toughest opponent in the playoffs, who the hell knows.

Then your watching a much different Del Zotto than i am. The guy is absolutely trade able. We win game 2 if not for him kicking the puck in his own net with NOBODY around him. Plus he has completely lost his offense touch and doesnt know when to shoot or pass anymore.

Stepan im in the middle about. He has completely disappeared 3/4ths of the way through the season.

MDZ, Stepan, Dubi for Nash and CLB 1st rounder in 2012

Dominated? I'm sorry you must be watching the series in an alternate reality. They haven't dominated ****. They've outplayed them for a grand total of maybe two periods in 4 games. Give me a break.

Put the optimism away.

You and me both. And Hagelin. I'm already sick and tired of Rupp and Mitchell

It makes me sick seeing the Penguins are able to score 10 goals on an NHL team without a 40 goal scorer yet we can't score more than 2 against a bad defensive hockey team. Honestly the Penguins' winger are not that good. Granted we also don't allow back to back games of 8 goals.

Yep. We needs someone who is able to keep their head cool in the offensive zone, someone who thinks in slow-mo and not FF. For some reason we cannot for the life of us keep the puck in the offensive zone and keep our opponents under pressureee

That post of the EV strength ice time is misleading considering all the power play team the Rangers had.

Prust will be getting 15-17 minutes a game with torts rolling 3 lines.

They have Crosby and Malkin centering.

The only thing that's keeping me sane is that Boston needed 7 games and OT to beat the Habs last year. That's what I'm hanging onto.

Biggest Redden had to be that PP at the end of the third. A chance to take a lead with 5 minutes to go, and you don't put one ****ing SOG on Anderson. That is inexcusable. Ottawa's defense is not good. Their PK finished in the bottom half. Our PK finished top 5 and they had consistent zone time.

Agreed. I know the rangers block shots but the blocked shot totals are getting ridiculous. Ottawa is creating many more opportunities.

I thought Rupp had a decent game. Great shift in OT too.

But yes, I really miss Hagelin and Zuccarello.

Can't believe Bickel played only 3:33, that's not going to fly if we advance to later rounds, our other defensemen will be gassed.

Torts sugarcoating things a bit, I want to know why they went into a defensive shell again so early in the game.

With the way the PP returned back to normal after those two goals, Torts should have given CK a shot on the PP. Couldn't have been any worse.

Its the Rangers style. Once you get a lead, its all PREVENT.

I'm confused on your first sentence? Are you saying that Pittsburgh doesn't have any 40 goal scorers?

yes, it looks like Tort's mistake to separate those two, who together were at both Rangers' goals

What in the world are you talkin about...

They have the league MVP on their team.

That is a pretty significant "Granted" as well.
