I bet the goalies are feeling absolutely helpless in the Flyers-Pens series. And what else can you expect when you have the kind of firepower that these two teams possess?

Johnson just made a bigger contributions by catching the puck on the bench than Fleury has made during this series..

Lol seriously the refs have been awful. This coming from the guy whose team has gotten the last four penalties I believe.

They'd probably feel a little less helpless if they played better! Would a JS Aubin vs. Robert Esche matchup have been any worse?

I saw Laviolette pick up his phone during the 1st intermission. He got a text from Bettman, it read "I have your kids in my basement, fold the game or else...".

Given how violent the playoffs have already gotten, the Refs are probably being told to reign things in at all costs.

I can't imagine there were very many series in the 80s with this many goals per game! I'm just waiting for it to slow down, and it just keeps getting crazier.

im watching so much hockey I actually dreamed about it this week

something similar happened when I was playing a lot of poker/chess when I was younger , I dreamed of receiving poker hands and chess boards.

And how about his brother?! Makes all the difference when those two can feed off of playing with each other.

They were ok tonight, but they weren't dominant or anything.

Canucks got a couple lucky bounces, and Schneider stole the rest of the show.

Also... I doubt he'll get suspended, but Sedin likely gets fined for that elbow.

. $2500 for a guy making over $6,000,000 a year is really going to dent him.

I wish Henrik was born in Livonia, Michigan like a certain other Canuck. Then maybe the media would recognize how much heart he's shown in the playoffs so far.

I always argued that he was just as good of a player with* Daniel, but it's tough to say that...he amped it up another notch tonight. Although, I suppose to be fair, any player in the league would be better with an Art Ross calibre winger next to them as opposed to Mason ****ing Raymond.

Edit: *without

Lucky for him Dustin Brown doesn't react to a cheapshot like that in the same way Duncan Keith does...

so much for 0 PIMs!
Oilers - Blackhawks in '85. 69 goals in 6 games. Oilers also played a game in 82 vs. Kings, they lost by two goals, 10-8.

so we need 22 more goals in 2 games to tie that series... it is doable. they are on pace right now!

Take a look at the play-off scoring leaders.

8 of the top 9 are Flyers of Penguins. 12 of the top 14 too

He is driven to be the best at everything.. he needed to step up his diving game to catch up to the Sedins.

he's actually working with a sports nutrition specialist right now, to develop a diet that will make him taller than Zdeno Chara within 2 years... the dude just can't stand being 2nd best at anything.
