Kings need to start banging on the Sedin sisters every shift. I am not saying go out and play dirty but they need to finish every check on these guys. They are chasing them around too much and they are doing their little Harlem Globetrouter B.S.. Put them on their ***** and let their supporting cast take penalties like we did the first 2 games.
I agree, I think this was the big problem tonight. A little too awestruck by the twins. You can't let them dance around you. I think they'll be much more prepared on Sunday though.
I've been really disappointed with Richards play in game 3&4. In game 1 he was amazing dishing out hits and scoring. It just seemed like he was a man possessed but now he has been a non factor. Don't if he's injured or not but the Kings really need him to step his game up and play physical.
The 4th line was very good tonight for the Kings. I like how Sutter rolls all 4 lines while AV uses 3 lines.
Also, and I know this is basically sacrilege around here, Slava was our worst player tonight, not even close to being anybody else. The kid was terrible, having a really hard time finding the puck and keeping his head in the game.
He is probably one of more most important players, so when he plays like this, it's tough for us to compensate for his mistakes. I believe he'll turn it around.
Yep, I can confirm you were indeed watching a different game.
Carter was invisible tonight. Mr. One Trick Pony can't even do what he was brought in for. Mike Richards and Carter were outplayed by the 4th line, as was everyone else.
Sutter said he liked his game and I did too. It just didn't go in for him and a lot of other players.
The difference was that 3 Kings lines didn't match Vancouvers' desperation. Only one line had that drive. Too bad that same line cost us some goals via Fraser. The Canucks just needed it more than the Kings.

The Canucks did a good job the last couple of days of concealing their plans for D.Sedin (will he or won't he?) as well as keeping secret the level of his ability to perform.
They won't be able to pull such tricks from now on. I'm still quite confident here.

Slava looked nervous everytime he had the puck, and when he had it he didnt make smart plays with it.

.
It's been like this all season with Richards. Had a nice start, then got injured and was awful for weeks, he came back strong in a few games but had some terrible ones to end the year. He was the Kings best player on the ice in game 1, and now has struggled again. The inconsistency is maddening.

No question about this, he had no confidence with the puck at all.
And also, why is Carter on the #1 PP unit over Brown?
Honestly, Vancouver played the part of the team of the desperate veteran team and LA looked like the cocky young team with experience putting teams down tonight. I am not too concerned. I just do not see VAN beating LA 3 straight times from here on out. I said pre-game I thought VAN was too good to be swept. Oh well. I don't the Daniel magically turns Van from a 0-3 team to a 4-0 team. Don't believe that for a second.

Only got to see the highlights...but it really seemed like all 3 Canuck goals were pretty fortunate bounces (I'm sure they were caused by good possession, not at all suggesting they were all luck) and that we were all around the net and just couldn't finish.
Reading the main board, you'd think we'd been dominated since game one and were lucky to even breathe the same air as the Canucks since
Jonathan Quick is a God. You are absolutely set in goal, tended by a guy who was such an afterthought in the Kings system that they took Bernier in the first round a year later. Every bit the likeable guy and amazing story Tim Thomas was before he lost his mind.
Not gloating one bit over tonight. It wasn't exactly 10-3.

I agree with you. His decision-making with the puck was uncharacteristically bad. He's better than that and I'm sure will perform better next time.
Here's what I think should happen! Get rid of Carter on the 1st unit on the powerplay, he's done nothing! Put Brown in there to crash the net! And freakin Dwight king has been awwwweful! I wouldn't mind moving aaaanyone there! Maybe Richardson. And Drew Doughty yikes! But other then that just finish these guys already!
