Yes. The "I am a genius" smile. Early return says he's earned it on this one.

Remember the build up to the 2007 draft and the Kane vs. JVR vs. Turris debates. Often you'd hear Turris get compared to Joe Sakic. Tonight, that OT goal was Sakic-like. Brilliant stuff and a great time to step up.

Every time I watch this kid play I wonder how he does it...always seems to be on the verge of falling down because he's so skinny. but somehow manages to get the puck or make a play. If he can put on 15 lbs or so, he'll be dominant.

That trade was the turning point of this season for Ottawa and it was soooo nice to finally see that wrister of his snipe the winner top corner.

Love this team no matter what happens.

6 points in 8 playoff games now. Small sample size, but he's been impressive.

If he was stronger he's be an animal out there. He loves to try power moves but often isn't strong enough to finish the play off. If he adds 10-15 lbs of muscle he is going to be scary good. Could push Spezza for the #1 C job in 2 years. And Spez is my favourite player of all time.

He's been unreal this year. With all our Bingo guys coming up big so far in the playoffs, people seem to forget Turris is actually our youngest forward. Still a lot of room to grow

It wasn't a trade deadline deal, but that's what it looks like in retrospect: the move that turned us into a playoff team, and his goal tonight bought us another home game this round. That's enough to make it a good deal, no matter how Rundblad turns out. And there's still plenty of development left in him. I'm eating a big meal of crow right now, well done Murray!

That shot was so good, about half the Ranger fans have to admit it was a nasty snipe.

I think that goal just settled it

when I come back to Ottawa I'm getting a heritage jersey with Turris on it.

What a ****ing shot!!!! Joe Sakic like when he used to snipe home all his OT winners.

Called him to get the winner at the intermission when having a smoke with my buddy. When we got back to our seats he asked me why Turris? I said "because he's been buzzing around the net for two full games getting chances"

He deserved it! Great to see him step up!!

My gif!

Ridiculous snipe, props to JOB for making a play instead of dumping it in after being pinned in the d-zone.

Man...it was such an awesome play. I couldn't be at the game, but Locals was going wild. Filthy, filthy shot. I remember telling my friends a while back that I would love to have Turris when all the rumours started (even though I didn't think it would be Rundblad we gave up for him.) He has easily been our best forward so far in the playoffs...he always seems to be around when we're scoring goals right now.

Kudos Turris. Turrific play.

The assist by JOB was what made the play. What a smart player.

While it was a nice pass, it's a pretty routine play and you see it many, many times throughout the year. Drop pass while criss-crossing in the offensive zone always looks nice, but has become a staple for 2 on 2. The shot is what made that play. Just filthy.

JOB going in for the big hug after the goal and getting the blow by from Turris is pretty funny.
