Regarding the lineup changes, anyone think we could get something halfway decent by trying to spread out the scoring over three lines?

Just an example ...

Wingels -- JT -- Winnik
Marleau -- Pavs -- Couture
Clowe -- Moore -- Havlat
Galiardi -- Desi -- Mitchell

LeBrun on possible line changes

(Watching Clowe on Chronicle Live. Sporting some new stitches on chin from yesterday's game. Wingels also there.)

Wingels-Thornton-Pavelski
Winnik-Marleau-Havlat
Clowe-Couture-Desjardins
Winchester-Moore-Mitchell

Wingels has a nice shot but you should put Pavs on his line because he's more proven even though he's snakebitten right now. You can't waste Thornton's talents with two unproven goal scorers. I'm interested to see how Marleau and Havlat would do together with their speed and Winnik is pretty good in transition. Just don't let Winnik shoot the puck. The third line would be all about the cycle. Desjardins is underrated on the boards and he could probably cycle pretty well with Clowe.

With that said, we know T-Mac won't do it. He might switch Couture and Marleau or something but he's not gonna do 3 scoring lines.

i like this actually. top line doesnt have "proven goal scorers" but they can score goals. it'd be a bit of a mind **** for the blues too.

I think that's a lineup they'd try around game 20 or so. It's going to be minor tweaks at puck drop, and maybe a couple more should the game not go as planned.

I'd hope there's more of an adjustment in how they approach their chances, rather than line pairings.

Moore apparently out, Zeus in.

Marleau to center between Havlat and Clowe, which would mean Juicy-Joe-Joe

Play the Couture-JT-Pavs line like 22-23 mins.
