Fans will actually watch the AHL playoffs over Boston-Washington or Phoenix-Chicago?
Seriously?
You'd rather watch playoffs of teams that have no impact on the leafs? I'd much rather watch our prospects in meaningful games.. 1/3rd of this team could be playing for the leafs in the not too distant future.
Kadri, Frattin, Ashton, Colborne, Deschamp, Holzer, Blacker, Scrivens all have my attention.
Leaf fans would rather watch a team with future Leafs than teams to which they have no emotional attachment. Makes perfect sense to me.
Huh...interesting. To each his own I guess. I am a Leafs fan and would love to see nothing more than my team in the post-season but to deny myself the best hockey in the world because the baby Leafs are on TV would be sacreligious. If I were going to watch it live..that would be a different story....I wish them well but they aren't getting my attention over the NHL.
The Bruins-Caps serious has been somewhat boring to me, so it makes this an even easier decision. All games against Rochester have ended with a difference of 1 goal, but the Marlies are still the overwhelming favourites in my eyes.

Well then enjoy, you're in the minority though. I don't understand how you can watch Kadri, Gardiner, Scrivens, and others on the Leafs but they play on the Marlies and you want nothing to do with them..strange. Guaranteed you'll be back cheering them on and being a fanboy next year when they're on the Leafs, just remember you watched Boston-Washington over our own prospects playing in meaningful games.
The second I'm back from University and done exams, I will be going to the first game possible.
I REALLY hope this team makes a deep Calder run, and even wins it.
I want management to realize the talent we've got down there, and for the kids to force Burke's hand in clearing out the old veterans like LACK, and opening up spaces for guys like Colborne, Frattin, Kadri, and Holzer to get jobs out of camp.
Would love to see a "Kid Line" next year... have Big Joe between Kadri and Frattin as the third line, that would be fun to watch.

I live at home and have my last exam tomorrow, so saturday I'm finding a scalper and watching it.

I flip back and forth... Try and watch all the games. But those American Announcers put me off and to sleep every-time. Nothing exciting about it. If it's not on CBC, it's not worth watching! Absolutely no EMOTION!! It's like they are calling the play by play for golf.
Yes it's the best time for hockey..But with some of these announcers, I save a fortune on sleeping pills!
