I don't know if anyone saw that Mark Staal hit on Jason Spezza? Spezza went down for a few seconds then got up and went to the locker room. Just saw on TSN Spezza saying that he thought it was a dirty hit. My reaction: "Are you kidding me?"

I have no idea why Spezza entered the Rangers zone with his head so low. He was about chest level on Staal, and they're about the same size. As soon as I saw him coming across the blueline like that, "I thought Spezza are you trying to get yourself killed?" As it was Staal just pushed Spezza away with his hands, he didn't even hit him. Staal could've killed him, and he wouldn't have gotten anything because Spezza was so low. But, he didn't it. It wasn't dirty at all.

Also, Spezza is not a big game player. He kept turning the freaking puck over, and pretty much sucked in the 3rd and OT. MacLean was chirping at him something wicked on the bench. It was almost Sundinesque (when he was with Quebec).

Sens role players, D and Anderson are making this a series.

Nobody on the Sens has put up big numbers, but Spezza's been pretty invisible so far from what I've seen.

But Spezza is a 6'3" center, he's the key to championships.

He's trying to do too much. He's playing like the old Spezza, stupid blind passes.

But the argument can be made that while he is playing poorly, he is getting the most attention which opens up the game for the other Sens players. So having a big time player like that does help even if he's not scoring.

Staal should have done a better job avoiding Spezza's head but yeah, Spezza hasn't been great.

Spezza has always been sloppy though. Playing against really defensive teams like the Rangers makes him look worse.

To me the Foligno-Turris line has been a bit more consistent this year.

Watching CBCs intermission and listening to Kirk Muller really helps me realize why he was so valuable to our team.

They need to get rid of Stock or put a jester hat on him, he's a joke.

Did anybody see the intermission and when they showed the Caps owner Leonsys quote about his blog? I guess he called out the refs and why the Bruins always seem to get the benefit of the doubt. Another owner that is seeing the preferential treatment Boston seems to get.

Holtby is decent but he's nothing like the best goalie ever Tim Thomas.

In about 10-20 years someone will write a book about it and we will all find about who has been pulling strings for the bruins.

Someone on here (I can't remember who) said that PJ Stock was Montreals version of simple jack. I laughed so hard at that. I also think he's Ron's boy toy on the side.

I've actually been more impressed with Semin than Ovie this season, believe it or not. Ovechkin has more points, but when he's ineffective he's very ineffective. Semin has been feisty at least.

The rest of the league used to say that about us when we were winning. I still hate the B's more than any other NHL team.

I don't know if anyone's watching the Caps - Bruins, but Johansson made an absolutely sick tape-to-tape cross-ice backhand pass through the neutral zone to Ovechkin. It was awesome, and allowed Ovie to break into the Bruins zone with speed. They didn't score, but that kid has some sick skills.

He's only 21, and only in his 2nd season. I can see him getting into that coveted 70-80 pt. range within 2 years. He's playing a great game.

BTW, Washington is playing a much better 2nd period.

He used to get these stupid penalties in a Habs uniform all the time now they don't see him do it in a Bruins sweater.
