You really can't argue that the refs are favouring the Bruins tonight. Boston has dominated a large part of this one and have hemmed the Caps into their zone a number of times, but have yet to receive a power play.

Except Semin's continuing to price his way out of our reach.

When was this?

If we had one of our players father in the upper echelons of the NHL they should be saying that. The NHL is completly bush league.

I don't even know how Thomas has such high save percentage when you see him flopping around so much. I think it helps that he gets a lot of shot blocking from his D.

I have no idea why Spezza entered the Rangers zone with his head so low. He was about chest level on Staal, and they're about the same size. As soon as I saw him coming across the blueline like that, "I thought Spezza are you trying to get yourself killed?" As it was Staal just pushed Spezza away with his hands, he didn't even hit him. Staal could've killed him, and he wouldn't have gotten anything because Spezza was so low. But, he didn't it. It wasn't dirty at all.

Also, Spezza is not a big game player. He kept turning the freaking puck over, and pretty much sucked in the 3rd and OT. MacLean was chirping at him something wicked on the bench. It was almost Sundinesque (when he was with Quebec).

Sens role players, D and Anderson are making this a series.
Erik Karlsson...nough said. When will people realize he is a way better player than Spezza?

He is now showing everyone around the league he could dominate in a hard hitting war defensive series as well eating up 30+ minutes in games and none below 25 mins so far.

I have never seen a team pile into the net like the bruins. It looks like a scene out of saving private ryan sometimes.

His D does a great job of collapsing in front of him and blocking shots.

Brouwer should've gotten the puck out earlier in that shift.

Wow what a glove save right at the buzzer. Oh it wasn't really a great glove save, but a save nonetheless lol.

Caps win!

Caps look pretty similar to that team that beat them a couple years ago. Basically, playing a defensive system and having your young goalie stand on his head.

Anyone that doesn't think Cambell has pull in the league still, is totally clueless.

Holtby's been solid but not a lot of spectacular saves, mostly just throwing pucks at the net. Boston is not playing very well.

Boston had almost 50 shots tonight and I thought they actually played their best game of the series. Holtby made some good saves at key times, reminds me of Theodore against the Bruins years ago!
