Thing about the Hawks is they can send 6 of the best players in the world out on the ice (although without Hossa thats now 5) albeit tonight they got help from a different line.

I think Phoenix gets the Win. Gilbert Brule in OT...
I can see it. With a Kyle Turris-like blistering shot that has everyone thinking we should trade Sam Gagner for Gilbert Brule in the off-season.

Christ Crawford is bad. Don't even have to touch the puck to score on him.

Miller mentions the fact that Czechs scoring in bunches these playoffs. And Boedker scores in OT again. Europeans dominating in these playoffs.

LMAO, I had the exact same thought.

Ugh, awful OT goal it turns out. What do they teach in goaltending schools these days anyway?

Boedker. Well, I called the team winning in OT. I was kind of kidding about Brule. Figured I'd go with a dramatic longshot.

Wow but what an exciting time for the Phoenix Coyotes.

They won't need a plane to get back to the desert. The club is a mile high.

Chicago still in this thing though. I still see way more drama.

If I'm Feaster, I'm pitching Kipper for Kane before the draft.

Good luck with that... They can likely get Luongo or Thomas for a song.

Crawford is costing the Hawks the series....another brutal goal to give up in OT...2nd straight game

Chicago dominated that game but goaltending is costing them

I want Chicago to win the series, but I also sort of want Boedker to score in OT again next game. 3 straight playoff OT winners would be crazy. Cogliano who?

Is it wrong that I'm cheering for St. Louis, Phoenix, and Nashville for the express reason that it would mean Vancouver would play Nashville if they managed to come back from 0-3 to win against the Kings?

Leddy couldn't have played it worse either. Barker would've had it

He back-checked hard enough that Boedker couldn't even shoot... yet he scored...

We would have to add.

No way they give us Brule for Snowpants straight up.

Leddy was just awful on that play. Surprised that wasn't mentioned till now. Basically just allowed the player to break unmolested to his goal. Didn't take the body, didn't impede, didn't do anything but watch the goal unfold.

Bizarre play.

Boedker: "Well all these guys are ******** their pants, I may as well walk in and score"

Hawks deserved to lose for how bad of a breakdown that was. You can't be that lame in OT without it biting you.

Also, Johnny ****ing Oduya.

Got played on the first Phoenix goal like a defenseman in a NHL video game. I could see that one coming a mile away.

Everyone's so getting fired in San Jose. Barely make it in and then of all the 1-3 teams they've looked the worst. No guts.

St Louis was probably the worst possible matchup for them. San Jose went 0-4 against them in the regular season and cannot solve St Louis' system

I have a funny feeling that if it was Nashville on the winning end of that **** show, you'd be blowing a gasket by now.

Second game in a row that the Hawks find a way to lose, though tonight was worse than Tuesday. Phoenix again manages three goals on the scoreboard after generating barely that many scoring chances the entire game. I wonder if the Hawks go to Emery in Game 5, they can't possibly have any faith left in Crawford.

The Hawks just don't have the grit or the execution to get it done this year. The team that lost to the Canucks last year showed ten times the tenacity and heart that these guys have. Maybe they find a spark and turn it around, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Between the lack of energy, Crawford's buffoonery, and the farcical officiating this has been frustration at its finest. Can't help but tip my cap to Tippett though. To be on his way to round two with that roster is incredible. The Coyotes would have been worse than the Oilers without him.
