Ummm what??? According to Bruins fans Ovechkin should've been called for interference on the first goal and the Bergeron penalty was dog ****. I find it funny when they complain about the refs considering their GWG in game 3 was clearly offsides. Oh well. Backstroms gonna come back and have a big game me thinks. We are gonna ****ing win this! Let's ****ing go Caps!

Ovechkin should have been called for interference. It's hilarious. Enjoy it.

Tbh I don't really think so. Ference tried to hip check him and get in his skating path and Ovechkin just fell on him. He didn't tackle him as many Boston fans are saying. I will enjoy it though and I will also enjoy seeing Nicky back for games 5 and 6 and 2 wins Go Caps!

You know, I have one answer to any Bruins fan complaint...the puck don't lie.

If we score first in Boston, we're winning this thing at home.

Ference came over, Saw Ovi and tried lay a pick on him and lost, Ference shouldn't even be playing after his charging elbow on Semin in game 2.

There's a reason Ferrence wasn't complaining after the play.

It looks like Ferrence knew he was beaten, and even bent over and slowed down to impede Ovechkin. I really don't think it was a poor non-call.

That Boston blogger guy said Ovechkin clearly interfered. I really think that it wasn't clear. At the time, I wouldn't have been shocked had Ovechkin been called, and I don't think I would've complained, but I also don't think I'd be complaining about the noncall if I were a Bruins fan. I think it might have been an ambiguous situation.

The guy is a ****ing idiot, we all know Ovechkin, in what world does Ovi do anything such thing when there is a free puck up for grabs? Let alone in what world does Ovi do that play for any reason? Its not like he tackled him and Laich swooped in and got the puck, Chara got ****ing owned by Laich and they scored.

End of story.

Well, I can't exactly say I was pleased with how the Caps played tonight. Too many defensive breakdowns and often times they seemed just really not that into it. Luckily, Holtby was as stellar as ever and I can't complain too much about a Caps win

Hopefully they'll play with the same intensity in game 5 that they had in games 1/2.

Caps in 6 on home ice?

you know. i see what the b fans/bloggers are seeing. he didnt have the puck and ov ran over him. i also see what ovechkin saw. the puck. he was going for the puck and had an open route to the puck til ference stepped in front and ov ran over him.

ference was skating away from the puck as if he didnt know it was there. frankly, it was ference who interfered with ovechkin's attempt to play the puck. if ference was unaware that it was there and the contact inadvertant, then the ref allowed them to play on.

the position of ov and the puck show that NOT to be interference

Boston was offside before the GWG in game 3. So even if Ovechkin interfered (which he didn't), it'd be even

I think both the Caps and Bruins took the calm down advice slightly too far...that was the lowest energy game 4 in 2-1 series I've ever seen, BUT it was a lot better to see the Caps play calm, cool, and collected rather than frenetically attacking with no sound strategy...so maybe it is/was for the best.

What Ovi did was what I wish our other players were strong enough to do, just go right through petty interference. Flattened Ferrence proper.

The biggest factor was more, what the hell was Lurch doing over there??

Center ice right side boards next to Ferrence, horrible play by Lurch. Laich used the pile up sure but Lurch was just moving in the wrong direction

The Bruins were forced to play a hockey game by the rules last night. They lost. I expect them to revert to their comfort zone on Saturday, and like Txpd, I expect them to try to run Holtby hard. National TV should help us a bit. The question is whether the refs on Saturday will have the stones to call the game by the rules.

Do Knuble and Erskine get sweaters at least through the remainder of the series?

pretty ugly and they allowed play to be dictated by the opponent way too much but they stole 1 without a top 10 centerman in the lineup so nothing but fist pumps from me. I hope it reinvigorates them and game 5 sees the same holtbeast plus the skating from game 2 and 3.

Knuble the only penalty, Aucoin the PP being run through him and his oak tree down low; I see Knuble benched. It's rare someone sits after a win but we have no choice. Pretty sure I saw Aucoin taking faceoffs last night from the wing.

I think Erskine stays IMO.

My changes; Nick in Knoobs out.

Ugh! You're probably right but I disagree with it. I don't care about Aucoin's twig, I just haven't seen anything from him during the series that would justify him over Knuble. Agree though with Erskine.
