Friday's practice

Michalek-Spezza-Butler,
Foligno-Turris-Stone/Hoffman,
Greening-Smith-Neil,
Konopka-O'Brien-Condra.
Klinkhammer extra

Suprised to see Klink not taking part with a line. I figured he would be the easy one to insert in the lineup

No Alfie, doesn't look good for tomorrow.

Where did you get these line combos from? Are you there or has the media released these? Also, great to see Stone and Hoffman practising with the team. Both are great players and could really add value to the lineup. Hoffman looked like he had great speed during his call up. He also showed some decent offensive creativity.

Actually Ian Mendes just tweeted it:

@laura_grande13 I can't believe how big the kid is. He looks huge out there...not out of place at all.

Mark Stone & Mike Hoffman are taking turns playing on the wing with Turris/Foligno line today. Butler is with Spezza/Michalek.

Prospect Mark Stone is on the ice for Sens practice today; wearing #60.

Would love to see Stone play, though would be a tad worried given he's never even played a regular season game

well hoffman was the extra skater at the warm up on wednesday...not stone...not klinkhammer...

I bet you if anyone does jump in(that we havent seen recently) it will be hoffman. The guy is so slick out there. In warm up his release was turris-esque...way better then a lot of shots i was seeing from our big boys...that and he's got speed to burn. He's older and has more pro experience which is huge over stone. And stone is just, huge, himself...so it may be close haha.

Seriously though, my money's on hoffman.

Judging solely on the type of goals he scored in the world juniors, this seems like a good series to have a player with his attributes. Opportunistic dirty goals is what it's going to take to win this series.

I wouldn't expect him to make an impact, but it may be worth a shot.

Give Stone some PP time on the 2nd unit. He has a nose for the net.

But expecting 5on5 contributions at this point in his career is a real stretch.

I agree those are the type of goals we need ..Stone always finds the dirty areas and has a quick release

Seriously? I hope not. They've been watching Hoffman play against professional hockey players all year, and he led his team in scoring. Stone's been playing against kids.

True. But it comes down to if there is a big scoring chance, who do you want taking the shot - Stone, Butler, Hoffman - I'd pick Stone every time.

Stone is a good prospect...but he's still that just a prospect. Makes no sense putting in a young kid in the playoffs for his first professional game. And on the 2nd line too! Even players like Stamkos, Tavares, Duchene, Seguin all struggled to various degrees coming out of junior to play in the NHL - and that was the regular season! Stone isn't at that level no way you put him in. Hoffman, Daugavins or Klinkhammer.
