Hardest ticket to get in Nashville sports history?

I think so. I have been around the area for my entire life and i never recall a sporting event ticket more desirable than the ticket for tonights game 5. 350 people wanting a shot at a seat in the rafters??

It's freaking awesome. But I'm skeptical to rank this over every Titans game ever played. I'm not a Titans fan per se, but I'm sure they've beaten this at some point.

LP field holds close to 70k though so there are a lot more seats.

Should be fun to see how hard tickets get WHEN (CONFIDENCE!!) we make it to the later stages of the playoffs. Overall, a great problem to have.

Holy smokes! I didn't realize they were still doing the $10 same day tix for the playoffs.

Big to ownership for that one. They could just as easily sold those tix on the regular market and still sell out the arena. Too bad they always cap the announced attendance at the the listed capacity of 17,127. Wouldn't surprise me if they go over 18,000 in actual attendance tonight with the standing room only they added this year and the expanded suites.

I was wondering how maybe the playoff tickets back in the day or the recent 13-3 season playoff game against Baltimore may have compared.

Those 100 are section 300 seats with an actual place to sit and are part of the 17,113 (or whatever the official listed capacity is).

They also sell standing room only tickets (they converted some office space in the upper level to the left of the Preds' shoot twice goal by knocking out some walls to provide a view of the arena). They will also sell extra standing room tickets for available suites. For some reason they don't factor these in to the attendance figures.

I was on a tour earlier this year as part of a business lunch and learn. The arena employee taking us around said they've had very close to 18000 for a Preds game.

Well you have to remember that the Titans went to the super bowl the first year they were in Nashville. So i think that took some of the luster away plus football is so much better on t.v. unless you have good seats. Hockey it is all about the surroundings. From what i can remember the tickets were not that hard to get if you wanted to pay nor did they have 300+ people waiting in a line on a workday morning for nose bleed tickets.

Yeah they have went over capacity several times. The last Saturday night game against the hawks they were talking about more than 17300.

I'm pretty sure they are box office only.
