Best Wild news I've heard in a long time. Now I hope they don't go and sign another local homer that isn't talented.

It's this states past time. Didn't you get that memo 12 years ago? The only reason we even got the Wild was so we could ***** about them all the time

maybe it'll be a rotating thing like the FSN pieces seem to be. different guys behind the desk on different nights. I can see them doing something like that until a favorite emerges.

Nah, if he were in the booth, the players on the ice would all be mic'd up and doing play by play about him, not the other way around.

Nah, Joe O'Donnell is good for the AHL, but he's not an NHL voice just yet. I'm all for throwing some $$ at Dave Strader or bringing back Doug McLeod.

Why is Greenlay still here? Get him out next.

The only local guy I'd be in favor of is Wally Shaver... otherwise, they must go out of market and get a REAL play-by-play man!

Agreed, but if I had to choose only one of the two to cut.. it would have been Terhaar first and foremost!

Any idea how long Dave Strader's contract with NBC goes? I would absolutely love to have Strader here.

I wonder if they have anyone they are in talks with. The anticipation is gonna kill me if they don't announce the new play by play guy in the next few weeks.

I've always thought Greenlay was pretty decent. Maybe that's just because he seemed reasonable in comparison though.

Hoping for a real hockey name this time around.

Yes! This is great news! I actually think having a new play-by-play guy will help our games be more exciting to watch.

I chirped Greenlay, not Terhaar.

And my rants are directly proportional to how terrible the Wild are doing.
