I'm jumping on, too. I hate all of the remaining teams.

I have no hatred for the Preds...they're not really a team that made me hate them. I don't like that we lost to them but they didn't play dirty. They won by playing hard, and that's respectable.

I can't believe I missed it ALL... Should have gotten home at 9:15, last minute customers kept us late, then my wife failed to pick up dinner like I told her too so I had to stop on my way home... only caught Babcock's q&a

Just watch the highlights and tell your wife to shower you with champagne. What an awesome feeling. Sorry you missed the game man. That sucks.

That was a potentially franchise-altering win. Preds fans get some swagger in the NHL scene now. They just beat down one of the big heavy hitters and that means that they can look the Original Six snobs/Canadian snobs right in the eye.

Thinking about it, the relocation scare really wasn't all that long ago, and look at how far Nashville hockey has come in the meantime. You guys may not be quite in the first rank, but you're definitely out of the last rank now. No one has the right to fail to take City of Nashville seriously as an NHL market anymore.

This team's for real... I also really like Detroit but the bigger, stronger, faster team won... This was a dominant series performance. This team is much better than the team that made it to the second round last season. An upgrade on all levels... People will start to take notice.

Thanks, Preds.

I needed that.

Now please go win the Cup and resign Suter and Weber finally so the rest of the NHL bluebloods can finally SHUT THE **** UP.

Perhaps, but IMHO the win in the stands was as important or more as the win on the ice was. That barn brang it. Flat out brang it.

except that I expected the Preds to win this series. There was just a persistent and lingering doubt that they would.

Awesome win. I'm more stoked and excited for this win than any other I've watched. I just wish I could have been there. I was at Staples in April 2001 for game 6 when the Kings bounced the Wings. As a sports fan there is nothing else on Earth that compares to seeing the handshake at an NHL Playoff series clinching game.

I don't post on the boards very often, and I'm actually a Sharks fan, but wanted to offer my congratulations to the Predators. Will be cheering for you guys and hope to see your team make a deep run.

Woo, that was a good game, I actually thought we were the better offensive team for most of the first two periods for once.
