Canada would be losing a true national treasure if they wouldn't be able to watch Pierre. Minnesota would have to pay a hefty ransom for his well-sought after skill-set.

Majority of Canadians posts were thanking god that Versus took Pierre.( from TSN) Now he can be creepy and talk about big sticks on guys in America
If he comes to Minnesota I'm sure he could become non-excited pretty quick.
I'm pretty sure he is under contract for probably a couple of years with Versus. The only way he walks away from a national TV gig is if he gets a job in a teams front office like he reportedly wants.

I suppose we could turn his title into a public game relations advisor something.
They need to revamp the entire intermission segment to get rid of crap like their lame faceoffs and give us scores and highlights from around the league.. When watching a Wild game, you'd hardly know they play in an entire league of hockey teams the way they handle intermission etc.
I'm 99% certain that the regional Fox Sports outlets haven't purchased the rights to show highlights from non-regional games. Things like game broadcasts, rebroadcasts, and highlight packages have some really ridiculous copyright rules. They're likely legally unable to do that during intermission.

Some other RSNs do it. Not Fox Sports ones, but I have seen highlights from other games on Altitude and Comcast Sportsnet California.
I have also seen around the league scoreboards on Fox Sports Midwest and Tennessee and possibly Southwest.

Scoreboards can be shown by anyone (the league or other media companies own the footage, not the actual events). Contrary to what the NFL will announce at the beginning of a football game, the league does not own descriptions of their events. They do own exclusive right to derive revenue from non-fair use exempted material though. Scores would certainly fall under fair use though.
Comcast has all the necessary licenses to show highlight packages. I can't speak towards Altitude or MSG or any other company like that though.

Was just pointing out what I have seen. And I know scoreboards can be shown by anyone, thats why we have that ticker that shows up at the bottom of the screen a couple times an hour during Wild games that shows every score in all of pro sports.
The point was I don't see out of town scoreboards on many fox sports broadcasts.

They already have and Minnesota already declined once.
