Congratulations Preds and Preds fans. Much respect from a Winger. Yours was the better side from the first puck drop. Your management made some very astute moves the last couple of seasons by adding to an already fantastic young core. Your goalie is a monster. Even when we were outshooting you I doubted we could best you in this series. Well done to Trotz and Poile also for showing loyalty and persevering through some lean years.

Central division represent! Good luck!

Three stars of the series?

1) Rinne
2) Suter/Weber
3) Radulov or Borque?

I think Weber was outstanding in the series, probably MVP, followed by Klein.

I think Rinne did a good job but his save totals are way bloated...

Radulov really turned it on the last 2 games.

I wish my mod powers extended to the games. I was SO ****ing pissed off last night when people started throwing their shirts and things on the ice before the game was over. We had 3.9 seconds left, yet these over-excited yokels couldn't keep it to themselves until the buzzer? They WILL call a penalty for that ****...

What an exciting game of which to be a part. The crowd was insane. I believe it hit 111 decibels last night. Completely unsafe for the ears, but I'm ok with it

9 total goals allowed. Four on the PP, one 4on4, four 5on5. Lidstrom held without a point for the first time ever in a playoff series. Amazing

As I left the arena last night some idiot Wings fan decided to talk **** to me. I'm not really sure why since I was merely one of THOUSANDS of happy Preds fans. Maybe he liked my hair, or maybe he just reeeeeeeeeally wanted to get his teeth knocked into his ****ing throat...

Anyway, he said, "I remember when I won my first play off series."

A few points, idiot.

First, no you don't. YOU haven't won a ******* thing you out-of-shape son of a *****. You can't even twist apart an Oreo without losing your breath...

Second, when the Wings won their first play off series they were one of six teams in the league. Oh man! Huge ****ing win there!

Third, this isn't our first play off win, you dolt.

I hope that guy decided to go to bars last night, continued to talk his pathetic game, and got his face re-arranged for it. Go home, Wings Fans. Just go home.

A few years ago I would have stayed behind to toss back a few jokes (i.e. It's ok... the Wings decided to lose because no one in Detroit can afford second round tickets, et al). Last night... brush that **** off your shoulders.

I remember when I was 20 years old and couldn't talk without eating my own shoe...

Those are the fun ones. They never know that Detroit went into receivership and Norris bought the team not because he wanted the Detroit Falcons, but, because the league wouldn't let his Chicago Shamrocks join. Guys like him never acknowledge 40+ years without a Cup. They are the bandwagoners that make the real fans look bad by association.

There is a guy who frequents the campus library where I work. I'm not sure why, but it's a library so I get a lot of that.

His name is Igor. I don't know from where he hails, but his name is Igor. He is a HUGE Wings fan.

One thing Wings fans love to do is tell anyone who will listen how good the Wings are.

Jets fan here

I picked the Preds to win the cup this year in my pool. Really loud building last night and love the chants. You guys had a very good team and your moves at the deadline are paying off Radulov was a beast last night. Your team will be very tough to beat. I have friends that have been to Nashville for a game and they tell me it's a great experience.

Congradulations......great team and great fans

Thank you, ps. It's always great to have outside fans come in to tell us how much they appreciate what we do. It wasn't too long ago that we nearly lost our team.

One thing that I noticed last night is that the Preds do not seem to be a team that lacks the killer instinct any longer. The game last night was really no different from any other game this series except for one thing: clearing the zone was not a problem. Trotz was able to roll all four lines for the last 10 minutes of the game, even in the face of a storm, because his team was able to get the puck, settle it down, and clear it. HUGE

Saw on the SPSO feed at the end of the handshake when Bertuzzi walked off the ice he gave his stick to a wings fan sitting next to the tunnel. That was pretty cool.

But I have mad respect for the other team. Especially Norris Nick. I drink to his career and many fruitful post-hockey years should he retire. One of the best truly. But the fact we beat such a prestigious team is what makes this feel so good.

Let's go PHX!

For me, there were an awful lot of guys who put themselves up for consideration in these rankings. However the first two on my list are the two who I think couldn't be left off the list at the expense of someone else. The 3rd spot was the toughest one for me to pick because there were so many strong contributions, could have gone one of about 10 ways.

1. Rinne
2. Klein
3. Weber (it was a tight series, low scoring and every goal mattered. Shea was strong at the back and got a couple of goals so he edges it for me)

HM (in no order): Erat, Legwand, Radulov, Fisher, Bourque, A.Kost, Josi, Suter

And a bunch of guys not on the HM list played well too. Strong series for the Preds as a team.

That's four

I definitely respect the Wings. That is an organization that should be looked at by all organizations. Great hockey club. It makes winning feel that much better. I'd rather see my team beat a great team in a close series than see my team dominate some undeserving team in a blow out.

At MTSU? If so, I'm pretty sure I know him. He buys stuff from my shop, and yeah, when I saw his Red Wings check book cover I was angry that I had already quoted him a price so I couldn't make it higher. He's an alright guy, aside from the Red Wings propaganda.

You have to really let this sink in. 4 full strength goals in 5 games from a team that (I think) was the best 5 on 5 in the league during the regular season.

4 PP goals in 5 games when our PK lacked Hal Gill.

This is an amazing statement.

A Wing fan put his hands on me last night after I waved goodbye to him after the game was over. He was with a few other guys being obnoxious all night. I had to hold my brother back once the guy touched me but I kept my cool and this dude was losing it. He kept faking like he was about to throw a punch. I kept my cool and was ready but he never followed through with it.

You have to be a special kind of idiot to come into an opponents barn and act like a complete ******* and talk trash and try to fight everybody. Wasn't worth my time Good riddance

I woke up this morning and sat in bed for a minute to decide if last night really happened. Unbelievable.
