I thought that was Radulov's best game of his NHL career. I didn't like his play in game 1 and 2, but he's steadily improved as the series went on, and tonight, he was fantastic.
Did I hear right that they measured 111 dB for the crowd at one point? Damn!
I think it showed 111.4dB and my ears are still ringing. I have some video if I can figure how/where to post it. Also have some photos including Poile/Fenton watching the handshake and, most importantly, the big jumbotron showing the score and an add for 2nd round tickets for sale!!!!!!
Awesome feeling. Congrats to the Wings- as much as we like to chant "Red Wings Suck" (and it does feel good), I really believe the Preds wouldn't be the classy, determined, decent franchise they are if they didn't have a perfect, successful Central Division role model franchise to shoot for all of these years.
Was at the game. What a fantastic crowd. Beating Anaheim last year felt great because it was the first but this one is on a different level. Just amazing. To finally get over the hump of the Wings feels incredible. I don't even know how to describe tonight. Just seemed surreal almost.
A Wing fan did try to fight me at the end of the game though. Idiot

As one with some hearing loss and permanent tinnitus (ringing), fans really should take some ear plugs to the game. Especially for children. Additionally, there's no way you should ever take an infant without hearing protection, as their ears are very sensitive.
When it's that loud, having ear plugs in doesn't change the experience at all.
It's still awesome this morning. We closed that game out the way we needed to, by going right at Detroit.
Full marks to the Fisher line. Their offense has gone in the toilet, but they shut down Pavel Datsyuk.
Josi was outstanding. We just continue to produce great young defensemen. I feel horribly spoiled.
Smith wants playing time. He only played 7:20, but he looked like he was fully in the playoff mindset, throwing his body around and trying to make things happen. The kid does everything right... I just fancy him to bounce back after tailing off in the middle of the season.
Now we get some rest. Just taking an educated guess, Round 2 starts Saturday.
Oh, and before I forget. Radulov:
He's the game-breaker we've been looking for since Kariya left. The guy is a world class talent, and we need to fight tooth and nail to keep him here.

that would be great to see pics of Poile.
I listened to him in the car on the way to the arena before the game.
He was happy, giddy and very uncharacteristic Poile. Excited confident.... and well giddy!
You know what solves the problem of excuse making? ****ing wins!
though I never want some analyst who watches five of our games every year to give us excuses for a loss. Save that **** for the less confident fan bases, NHL Network. Please and thank you

I know right! God it feels awesome. However, my floor is sticky with champagne...
so scrape it up, put it in water, and drink it. There are sober kids in India!
So I totally forgot about the legwand puck steal during the series. At first I felt bad because it was kind of a cheating move.... HOWEVER after watching the replay, Rinne easily would've had that under his pads. Legwand actually knocks it away from Rinne. We lucked out a little, but I think we were the better team for the series.
Also, I can't believe how loud our barn was. Those are potentially dangerous numbers. Freaking awesome guys next time get it to 112.
That was the only time the vuvuzela directly behind me didn't seem so loud
I'm sensing a new Predators tradition. Vuvuzelas designed (or maybe just painted) to look like Catfish. Mass produce them and sell them cheaply for charity. Preds win, you can throw them on the ice to celebrate, buy more and help the needy. Preds lose, you can beat opposing fans with them, deafen opposing fans with them, glue them together and make a prison for an official who has a bad game. Lots of possibilites
In between Sandblasting & Power Saw is where we were last night ... just imagine if it was 100 % Preds fans there last night ... I'm imagining Pain begins might have been a solid option
