if this game goes as the series norm, you wont really miss anything. i am expecting another 0-0 game into the 3rd period where the bruins are passing the puck around the caps zone all day but not doing anything with it

It's an improvement over three years ago when the Pens passed the puck around the Caps zone all day AND scored at will.
not that i expect that, but care to fill that out a little?
Chara has been neutralizing OV and to put him with Backstrom would negate any offense. I'd separate the two and let Backstrom win his matchup against Ferrence-Boychuk. In other words:

OV-Laich-Brouwer
Semin-Backstrom-Mojo
so...you are basically giving up on ov creating any scoring? yes? no point in trying to make it better for him?
or....could be that if chara is taking up all his focus on ov that backstrom and laich could eat up siedenberg who is not remotely norris trophy caliber

OV's done quite well neutralizing himself. I'm fine with him serving as a "decoy" and letting Julien send Chara and Seidenberg against him.
Backstrom against Ferrence and Boychuk is much more favorable. If they did put Backstrom with OV and they were neutralized, I have a hard time believing Semin and whoever will win their matchups.
