Leafs fan coming in peace...

Hey Sharks fans,

All the best to you tonight. I just wanted to know, do you guys think Joe Thornton will be available this offseason. Whats the chirp on your end. Has his time as a Shark come to an end? I've been hearing rumors, but I wanted to hear it straight from the Sharks' mouth (notice the pun there. lol).

If so, what would be a realistic offer the SJS would accept in return?

No, he's our best player, he's the only one to turn up for the playoffs this year, and last year he was our best playoff player.

He's playing the best all around hockey of his career.

I already said this on the Leafs board, but he's virtually untouchable. You can take Marleau though

All of a sudden, Mr. Choker is pretty popular.

I would actually much rather give up Thornton than Marleau in order to retool the team to be much faster and more talented

however, I think I am in the minority of fans, and most likely this team will look very similar next year with only minor changes in the bottom 6 as normal

Send a message via MSN to Spacemania
what do you want for Marleu? I'll toss in Neimi to sweeten the deal

The Sharks aren't dumping their best player and captain. No one on this team is anywhere as good as Thornton right now. Sorry Leafs fans.

That's a horrible trade for San Jose. He's not leaving Thornton as much as you wish he was.

Schenn is not worth anything. A top 5 forward for a borderline firstliner and a pick? Please.
haven't seen him play too much, but from what I have seen / remember when he was being hyped at the draft was he was projected as a top 4 stay at home who could hit...would be a nice young faster replacement for Murray...I know he gets a lot of flak from the toronto media/fans but is it justified or is he just a scape goat for a team that is failing to make the playoffs? (honest question)

I have always like Grabovski has speed that the sharks definitely need and the sharks need to restock the depth chart in terms of forwards...what if the pick was a 1st round? 5th overall would net at least Forsberg, if not Grigorenko

We lose this series to the Blues all the other Board teams will be in here thinking the players are available and we'll have to deal with this all off season.

No Jumbo is not available.

Lock please.
