Have to disagree. Of course Horton they miss. But not sure how their feeling McQuaids absence greatly in this series so far. Theyve played great D, and have allowed 2 goals in 2 games. McQuaid wont help the offense needless to say. The only loss their feeling at the moment is the top 2 lines with 0 points. Back end and goaltending been great.
You aren't watching Corvo and Zanon closely if you think they're playing great defense. Well, Zanon is playing very well, but often he has to over compensate for what Corvo doesn't do back there, and the poor guy helped score for the Caps the other night. McQuaid is missed out there, but if you you feel Corvo is doing great out there, than who am I to try and change your mind?
I still don't understand why thu continue to trot Corvo out there. He's been a bit better in the playoffs, but he still ****ing sucks. Why not try Mottau for a game at this point? He couldn't possibly be worse than Corvo.
Given that he isnt skating and isn't practicing with the team he likely is concussed.
I hope he gets better soon though. The team misses him. I was so excited before Chimer's hit that the Bruins wouldn't have to dress Corvo for the playoffs. Guess I shouldn't have counted those chickens before they hatched.
If it isn't a concussion then I suspect a neck strain or some sort, but then you would think he would be skating.
I hope we win game 7 because I have developed a deep dislike for Chimera.
I'm tired of saying "I just hope he's healthy, never mind coming back to hockey" when it comes to Bruins' players. I know all teams have their concussion issues, but it's crazy with this team and it's not just their style of play--the majority have been caused by late or cheap hits going back to Bergeron's bad one.
I ran into him a week or two ago (now I wish I knew what game) before the game and before they let people in, he seemed pretty upbeat- certainly wasn't walking around like he was auditioning for Dawn of the Dead.
