So disappointed in this team. My god that was just awful.
Kovalchuk I'd say in definitely injured. Yet he's still on the point and playing 25mins? That's just retarded. The **** Pete?

Pretty much every forward beside the 4th line has been crap.

Lets not forget folks, we had a 3-2 series lead against the Canes after 5, and we know how that turned out.

Imo, whichever team advances is going to get spanked next round.

I never thought this series would be easy but I still thought that the Devils would win it although I did get misled by everyone else optimism for facing the Panthers. I guess we have to suffer a little bit if the Devils manage to win the series.

This was a painful loss. Hell, the Stanley Cup champions were at home and had an even worse loss. They're in a 3-2 hole and so are we. Do you think they are spending time complaining/whining about the loss which does not help. We have two games left to play. We can win them both.

If the 2nd period wasn't so ****ing lopsided penalty wise we could have caught a break. Zubrus's double-minor? That's just unlucky. The fact the refs were incompetent enough to call an embellished high stick and miss too many men at the same time? It sucks. We're in a hole. But are you guys really giving up? Marty was on fire. We get an early goal next game, play strong and win and we come back to Florida in the driver's seat. We've watched this team all season long don't give up now.

edit: Also, Carter's "boarding" call. From what I saw Kulikov just lost his edge and Carter happened to be right there making it look bad. But it's not like he even pushed him or tripped him. That was just more ****** lucky in the 2nd that killed us.

Not that hard to look good when you're playing a team that had 0 effort.

gutless team rears their head again yay! bleh

Kovalchuk needs to play reduced time catered to using his shot and less skating if he is really hurt. That's on the mighty head coach Pete. If he isn't hurt then he needs a new heart, or maybe heart in general.

So we dont have to kill 7 PP in game 6??? Insult the Refs at your own peril.

When this team loses Tuesday, they should just lock the building and burn it with the team inside

This is one of the most inconsistent Devils teams ever. There's no way they put together two good games back-to-back and win this series. They might be able to force a Game 7, but they're not advancing.

I was going to go to the game Tuesday, but I'm not paying 100 bucks after watching the garbage I just watched. I'm confident it'll go to game 7, but this team just hasn't shown the effort it takes to win a game 7.

I will say, they did, and they really hustled, but every playoffs we are giving the other team credit for playing so good, ...its not getting old, it is old
