I didn't see "parity" when we were the 8th seed.

Exactly. I just dont get how Anderson is playing this well...good for him but dammit! He looks more skilled than Henrik.

It's a combination of lack of primary scoring and a lack of scoring depth for the times when the primary scorers aren't coming through.

Callahan is completely ****ing clueless, not only offensively, but in understanding when the team plays like ****, he thinks they played well.

Why so slow, they look like they don't care? That's not our team? It's not even like they are getting beatdown, they just look beaten.

Oh well, Game 6 is Monday, we will see what these ass hats are made of.

As hard as it is sometimes the other team should get credit as well.

Tip your broadway hat, it's over can't change it and be ready for Monday.
We havent scored in 5 periods and in over 100 minutes. Almost every shot is right in his logo. We get a 3 on 2 and cannot complete the initial pass on 3 occasions. We dump the puck in and allow an easy clear repeatedly. We miss the net. We are never around to cash in on a rebound chance. We lose almost every important draw. We cannot hold the puck in on the blueline on the PP. We dump the puck in on the PP and let them get an easy clear. We have no sustained puck possession time on the PP.

I dunno if I'd agree he's just being tightly checked. Second PO in a row where that guy was a ghost on the ice.

Come on folks, admit it.
There is a serious problem with NYR. Something wrong with the play, Ottawa had no problem contending with them, what's wrong with NYR, they are crap, impotent, just going through the motions.

Doesn't matter what seed, Tortorella's Rangers just love to get their a** kicked in the first round.

The Rangers have a long and storied history of making goalies look like hall of famers.

Guys that have to be moved this offseason:

Anisimov and Dubinsky

I want both off this team. Waive Anisimov for all I care. He's beyond useless and is outright disgracing the jersey at this point.

Neil dictated this series as did Konopka .

Paul Maclean , who incidentally was good enough to Play in this league not ECHL OR SWEDISH 2 nd tier or whatever has taught TORTS THE CLOWN A LESSON IN OLD SCHOOL PO HOCKEY .

Fire TORTS ,,,,, he sucks

You know it's bad if Rangers and Devils fans are sitting at the bar with their arms on each others' shoulder crying into the their beers LOL.

This team overachieved plain and simple. No offensive talent at all.

i don't buy it. this team has no offensive intelligence. Richard, Gaborik, and Callahan are our whole offense. We're looking for Boyle
for offense and we double shift brandon prust.

this team puts shots at goalies chests. they don't set up plays and you never see a ranger player available for rebound opposite the goalie.

And the PP is an absolute mess. Costing us big time in the series.

Richards and Gaborik need to get their act together or we will lose in Ottawa Monday night.

Only consistent player in this series has been Lundqvist. Anyone who criticizes this guy needs a reality check. I've said it many times, and I'll continue to say it, only "star" player playing up to his potential. Everyone else has been a major disappointment.
Again, it's not an issue of lack of desperation or lack of offense.

They couldn't get any kind of control of the puck, because OTTAWA IS FASTER than the Rangers. It's simple. SPEED is the difference in this series, and Tortorella is too damn clueless to change anything up. Ottawa was the ONE team (outside of Pittsburgh and possibly Washington) that the Rangers system is completely ineffective against. That's on Torts.
