I know about 90% of you want to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, but sometimes you have to tip your hat to the other team or GOALIE in this instance.
It is what is the Rangers actually played their best game this series, Anderson shut the friggin door.
Oh well, Game 6 is Monday, we will see what these ass hats are made of.
As hard as it is sometimes the other team should get credit as well.
Tip your broadway hat, it's over can't change it and be ready for Monday.
We havent scored in 5 periods and in over 100 minutes. Almost every shot is right in his logo. We get a 3 on 2 and cannot complete the initial pass on 3 occasions. We dump the puck in and allow an easy clear repeatedly. We miss the net. We are never around to cash in on a rebound chance. We lose almost every important draw. We cannot hold the puck in on the blueline on the PP. We dump the puck in on the PP and let them get an easy clear. We have no sustained puck possession time on the PP.
Come on folks, admit it.
There is a serious problem with NYR. Something wrong with the play, Ottawa had no problem contending with them, what's wrong with NYR, they are crap, impotent, just going through the motions.
I want both off this team. Waive Anisimov for all I care. He's beyond useless and is outright disgracing the jersey at this point.

This is my biggest issue with the team tonight. No desperation in the 3rd period. None. They didn't play a quality 3rd period at all. Did not force Anberson to make one good save at the end of the game. Looked like a regular season game in the 3rd period not a "must win" playoff game.
And the PP is an absolute mess. Costing us big time in the series.
Richards and Gaborik need to get their act together or we will lose in Ottawa Monday night.
Only consistent player in this series has been Lundqvist. Anyone who criticizes this guy needs a reality check. I've said it many times, and I'll continue to say it, only "star" player playing up to his potential. Everyone else has been a major disappointment.
Again, it's not an issue of lack of desperation or lack of offense.
They couldn't get any kind of control of the puck, because OTTAWA IS FASTER than the Rangers. It's simple. SPEED is the difference in this series, and Tortorella is too damn clueless to change anything up. Ottawa was the ONE team (outside of Pittsburgh and possibly Washington) that the Rangers system is completely ineffective against. That's on Torts.
