Its merely a hairline thats making the difference. You watch the fire thats gonna be lit under them come these 2 games. We are very much in this series. And these next two games will prove that. Just a bump in the playoff road. Just get your lucky jersey ready for game 7 at the Garden..:0)

Sometimes I miss the old Jagr. Nonchalant or not, he was a beast.

You're confident enough in Nash being that guy? I'm not, especially with the subtraction of assets and long-term commitment we'd have to make.

Outside of Gaborik, who has a really tough shot for a goalie to stop?

Right, no one.

All vanilla shots.

That helps the opponent too.

btw. What a wasted year on Kreider's ELC.

Playoffs are more about heart and fight than it is talent and that's why i'm so frustrated right now. Less than 5 guys showed up to play tonight, the pressure Hank has to stop shot after shot is just a disgrace. I know the goal he let in was a little soft but my god, the guy actually cares. I'm a goalie and if I was hank in that lockerroom right now, there would be a lot of broken items.

Well they thought they played a good game last game. This game they managed 41 shots into Anderson's chest. They must have dominated.

There's a difference between saying Gaborik needs to play with more urgency and calling for him to be off the team. He's been disappointing of course, but has Richards really been that much more offensively impressive? There are a bunch of other guys who deserve the heat you're throwing at Gaborik (who undoubtedly has been underwhelming), but I don't see you calling any of them out in this thread.
I said "more grinders" (well, at least implied) is not what I had implied.

You said I "said it".

I did not.

******* this is stupid. Not you, just the fact that were actually arguing over this.

And I called out several other players in a later post.

Newsflash , I like CK and he needs more developing but he very well could turn into ..... CHIMERA as easily as Eric Cole or Dave Keon or whoever

Nash is no better than Parise. I'd rather have Parise, who goes balls-out every shift.

117:36 of no goals...I don't even want to calculate how long without an even strength goal but I know that's pushing about 200 minutes if it's not over that by then.

This (probable) first-round exit will all but guarantee a big push for Nash in the off-season. It was the wrong move at the deadline and it would be the wrong move in the off-season too.

I disagree completely with Jonathan. on Anisimov. He plays in all situations and is really growing a reliable two-way game. He's a third line/second line tweener and he's being forced to play over his head with all the "Jam" guys this team employs. When everyone develops and he can settle into a third line center role he'll be right in his niche.

Lose Mitchell and plug Hagelin back into the lineup.

Hags - Richie - Gabs
Kreider - Stepan - Callahan
Dubinsky - Boyle - Prust
Rupp - AA - Feds

Would really feel great to go into Ottawa and steal game 6, but even if we do how confident can you be in Game 7 at MSG the way this team has played? Knowing the Rangers though, this one is going 7 and we're dropping the game in OT...Has to be as heartbreaking as possible, always.

I have no faith, but I can still hope.

Let's go Rangers

Nash is creative and good enough to do **** without help.

This season, Parise is not as good as he once was. I don't want to sign another has been.

Maybe not Nash but I know it's definitely not Parise. Parise is a more skilled Callahan. Nothing more. We don't need another one of those, we need someone talented enough to score goals on their own.

The worst thing the Rangers can do this off-season (although I fully expect them to do this because, let's face it, this is the Rangers) is overreact and make a horrible trade for Nash and his awful cap hit.

Go after the far more sensible Ryan. If you can't get him, tough. Wait till you can get someone who makes sense.

Because you need both to succeed in the playoffs.

And both have been problematic.

uh... no. 3 more 40p players? We need offensive talent.

anisimov, Stephan, MDZ, dubinsky, should fetch us a great player or two along with some pick and prospects...

Would love to see Parise play in place of 4 players. Might make him worth what he will be overpaid.

I would love them to draft elite offensive player which is unlikely if they keep making the playoffs.

If Mitchell plays over Kreider

I will flip a **** and lose all respect for Torts. Not only has Mitchell been useless, but he also cost us the only goal against tonight.

One thing I've seen this year:
29 teams take great shots, right in the top corners 5 times a game
The Rangers do it once a month
