Some of us have seen Ranger playoff choke jobs many times over. This is just another one in a long series of them that was only different once, in 1994. Other than that, over 70 years of choking. Some of those years were years where the Rangers were clearly the best team in the league. Many times they had great goaltending, only to give up a bad one that lost games or series'. Tonight looked like many of those. Lack of urgency, opponent figuring out the defensive zone exit with no adjustment from the Rangers, making a nondescript goalie look like the Vezina trophy winner, and so on. Been going on for years. The player that stood out for me tonight was Brandon Dubinsky. For a former top-6 player, he has had a terrible year and has not improved in the playoffs. He killed numerous rushes tonight, and he should be a scratch on Monday. The Rangers have not met the Senators intensity. Now they are close to the end.
How do I need to calm down? He's been that bad. Again, I haven't seen someone give less of a **** and play like a useless slug since Kamensky. Anisimov's play has been outright disgraceful. He's letting his team down. He's letting the fans down. He's been disgraceful. Period.

This season, Parise is not as good as he once was. I don't want to sign another has been.
Parise would fit the Rangers system well but he's not a threat offensively from 5+ feet out of the net. He'll hustle until his legs fall off but I would not be surprised if his offensive numbers slide year after year as he loses some of his energy and spunk. Someone is going to overpay for him and I hope it's not the Devils.

The lack of respect our team gets from the league has been pushing me away from the game. The lack of giving a **** our team shows is accelerating it. The entire thing is outright upsetting to me. Almost makes me want to cry. This is just ridiculous.
I hear ya man. It's been a long hard...well..18 years at this point.
I'm not giving up, I can't, but this is getting outrageous.

Addressing faceoffs is first and foremost the biggest offseason issue to tackle. It's something that can be addressed without blowing a ton of money or trading the farm. Find a ****ing guy who is good in the circle. It's pathetic to watch offensive zone loss after offensive zone loss leading to a clear. It's half the reason why the power play sucks. The other half is gaining the zone, and the latter leads to the former.
I wouldn't be even a little upset is Dubinsky and Anisimov never play another game after the playoffs for the Rangers.
Rupp, useless. Fedotenko, could be worse, but still fairly useless. Mitchell, it's a joke he stayed in the NHL this long.
Get rid of the dead weight and come back next year fresh.
No **** this season isn't over yet, but it will be soon. If they make it to the second round I will not post for the entire round.
