he's right! people here giving Dubinsky slack like it's his 2nd year with the team. He's a five year man and he's playing like crap! He wasn't prepared to start this season. he's one of the reasons we're losing this series right now.

Anisimov is joke.

You watch. Players that Columbus wanted will be included in this summer's deal for Nash after this playoff series.
IIRC, they wanted Kreider, McDonagh, Hagelin, Miller and a first.

They turned down Dubinsky, Stepan or Anisimov, Zuccarello, Erixon, and a first

Or the Rangers. I hope people realize he's not a difference maker. He's a great player but he doesn't command the puck as a dominant force. He's a talented grinding energy guy. Not. What. We. Need.

I just finished clearing the broken glass from thrown beer bottles and spilled beer from all over my room, and STILL I don't feel like I've gotten the anger out of me.

Unacceptable loss on home ice, to not even muster up a goal.

The only thing that can save us now is Hagelin returning.

Cannot believe the season is going to end like this.

I really don't see how that quote should inspire renewed confidence from Rangers fans.

Holy **** there's one series I would have any sort of interest in (Phi/Ott) and even then it's marginal. Philly will expose the Senators in ways we couldn't. Granted Ottawa would also score more.

The PROBLEM is a lack of speed.

Jagr has been the ONLY player who came to the Rangers as a known offensive beast and lived up to expectations.

The ice at the Garden plus expectations makes it difficult for superstars to shine with the Rangers.

The Rangers could get all three Nash, Ryan, AND Parise and they'd struggle in a game against Ottawa. Nobody could get them the puck, and if they did something right, nobody would be in position to pot a rebound.

Then it turns into overpaying for free agents and Sather is a clown again.

The Rangers need SPEED guys and get away from this grinding, shot-blocking game.

You guys want me to post the number of a suicide hotline?

Teams have come back from 3-0 down, we're down 3-2.

Plus, Boston, and Vancouver are in a worse position than us, and they were both considered bigger playoff dangers?
How about the Devils? They were bigger favorites in their series than anyone

This (probable) first-round exit will all but guarantee a big push for Nash in the off-season. It was the wrong move at the deadline and it would be the wrong move in the off-season too.

I disagree completely with Jonathan. on Anisimov. He plays in all situations and is really growing a reliable two-way game. He's a third line/second line tweener and he's being forced to play over his head with all the "Jam" guys this team employs. When everyone develops and he can settle into a third line center role he'll be right in his niche.

Lose Mitchell and plug Hagelin back into the lineup.

Hags - Richie - Gabs
Kreider - Stepan - Callahan
Dubinsky - Boyle - Prust
Rupp - AA - Feds

Would really feel great to go into Ottawa and steal game 6, but even if we do how confident can you be in Game 7 at MSG the way this team has played? Knowing the Rangers though, this one is going 7 and we're dropping the game in OT...Has to be as heartbreaking as possible, always.

I have no faith, but I can still hope.

Let's go Rangers

I like this. A lot.

Those lines SHOULD produce. I feel like Stepan was offensively our best forward tonight. He didn't finish but he made several great passes, took multiple shots (that were actually placed well, not in the chest of Anderson).

• Kreider needs minutes to show what he can do.

• AA is looking horrendous. Feds is just old and not worthy of anything above the fourth line.

The powerplay needs to change. Most importantly, if he's going to fail at keeping the puck in, not shoot, make that dumb ass drop pass to Richie....Del Zotto needs to be moved to the 2nd PP Unit and AWAY from Richards.

Callahan - Richards - Gaborik
Stralman - Stepan

With that line, you have the following:

Front of the net prescence: Cally
Dangerous sniper: Gaborik
Playmakers: Stepan + Richards
Shot from the point: Stralman

to me, that's what a powerplay is about...having players with the skills to take advantage of the other team's lack of numbers.

Why is it that if you are anti-Gabby it means you want a team full of grinders?

I just want guys who are good managers of the puck. Gabby is terrible/incompetent. The next time Gaborik stops and controls a puck going around the boards will be his first.

I agree wholeheartedly. Parise would be a big blunder.

Win it for Susan.

We've been here before. Let's get Cally to make a guarantee, and then he'll score a hat trick. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.

This team is lacking depth. When everyone said we were a year early, it was without a doubt correct. We're lacking offensive talent and got through the season, even though at the top, based on work ethic and defense. When the playoffs come around, it's depth and skill that wins because everyone has work ethic and defense when it's that time of the year. We don't have the benefit of having a GOOD bottom 6. Boyle and Prust are good 4th line players. Dubinsky and Anisimov are good 3rd liners but aren't bringing it this series. Mitchell is a big issue on this team. Bad things are happening when he is on the ice.

Anybody of these players has to score: Dubinsky, Stepan, Anisimov, or Del Zotto.

Without somebody supplying offense for this team in the playoffs, they'll be done in 6. Stepan looked really good this game. I hope it leads to something good happening for the kid in game 6.

I think the team looks worn out from the lack of 4 lines during the season. We need some more depth in order to make a run, because the guys look like they are skating in mud out there. Torts conditioning can only do so much when you run guys out there for 20+ minutes each night and have others play 4-5 minutes the rest of the game.

Mitchell I can see, but I think Rupp & Fedotenko do their job relatively well (not perfectly). Those are not the guys the team should be relying on to provide consistent scoring. Rupp is here for toughness, physicality, leadership, and the occasional goal. He's not scored much, but that's really not his role to fill one the team.

McDonaugh is awesome and going nowhere. I'm fine with Parise as well. in fact we can sign Parise for just $$$ and make a move for another scorer through trade.

Get rid of him.
