just got back from the game.

that sound you hear is Ranger balls shriveling up so far into their bodies they go all the way up their throats and choke.

wow

what happened to our team?

What happened to the team that would get pissed?

What happened to the team that would roguh up opponents and make them pay?

I did NOT expect this team to win The Cup this year, but I also did NOT expect them to just fold like this. We have character guys.

What happened?

Sadly, I think the Penguins are going to come back and beat Philly in 7. Not good to let a team like the Pens keep hanging around...

Losing Boyle is HUGE. Not a good omen heading into Ottawa.
if Ottawa losing Alfredsson was any omen, the team will respond with 2 straight wins.

I'm usually not the one to start talking like this, but the season's over.

They came out slow and stayed slow. Forget playing in Ottawa when you can't play at home...

On the POSITIVE side, it's technically not over.

This ranger team has far too many inconsequential players. redundancy at it's finest

This team needs to take better shots though. Callahan's back-hander right into Anderson's chest is one of the stories of the Rangers offense.

Man, a 2-0 lead midway through Game 4 and a 2-1 series lead vanished in a blink of an eye, and no the Rangers are almost cooked without their best forward.

Hank rarely loses 3 games in a row. He needs to be Jesus x 10000 in Game 6.

He can do it.

Only reason you'd even dress Scott would be to run Anderson, and hope that would rattle him. Or maybe to line up against Konopka on a face off with the pure intent of trying to slash a hand or something. Purely desperation moves.

Henrik Lundqvist for one.

Anton Stralman, Brad Richards, and now we get Hagelin back. Ottawa isn't that great at home either.

I have not given up. The problem is that I think the Rangers have given up.
I saw nothing from them tonight that validated my faith in them earlier. I had complete faith in them, and they played quite poorly to be honest.

At least I get to watch one more game this year before I seriously consider giving up on hockey for quite a while.

If the Rangers are gonna go out, go out swinging. Put Big John on the ice to take care of someone like Spezza or Karlsson. Fair is fair, isn't it?

The real problem is the fact that the majority of our players, as well as our coaching staff, have zero ability to adapt to a game when our system isn't working for us. Zero creativity. Zero killer instinct. Zero intensity. It's downright painful to watch.

As for the Neil hit, it looked borderline. The replays I saw were terrible, so I didn't get a good look at it.

we also lost Boyle...

and when you're in the playoffs looking to Brian Boyle to bring your scoring you know your days are numbered.

Because when he does he is assessed mysterious charging penalties.

This **** is going to give me a heart attack.

Don't give up on the sport, just nurse the pain of a Ranger exit with alcohol and try to enjoy the rest of the playoff hockey.

btw. What a wasted year on Kreider's ELC.
Maybe the Rangers wanted to see what he could do, of he was a pure beast, before offering him in the summer for Nash? Playing him a few shifts gives them an excuse as to why they are now willing to offer him up,
