LOL is this a serious post?

If you're considering giving up on the sport/team, then you weren't a true fan in the 1st place.

Good riddance.

Can't believe this board right now.

Knowing our luck, if Rupp did try to take care of Neil...they'd toss him. Dont doubt the incompetency of NHL refs.

I mean they sent Rupp the box for a clean hit, yet somehow missed Neil sending Boyle into dreamland with a clear elbow to the head.

No killer instinct at all. The NHL said "now you boys be good", and all of a sudden we are a bunch of wussies.

I would have played Krieder top line minutes in the 3rd period with Richards and Cally. Kid looks like he wants to play. Do it.

No, covienietly don't even consider the nearly 10 years of sheer dedication I've put into this team that has given me nothing in return. Am I going to quit on them? It's impossible, but am I going to take a break from hockey for quite a while, I wouldn't be surprised.

Agree. I bought a Boogey jersey early this year and put the sticker on the back of my goalie mask. He was slamming people into the boards for us and he tried to help offensively as well. I miss the guy. Scott's just a crappy, really bad version of Boogs.

He can do it.
Hank was clearly not the problem. Gaborik, Richards, Callahan, etc need to be Gretzky x 10000

A lot of this is going around on our board as well. Sometimes we lose focus on reality. Let's put things into perspective. In both cases, nobody is golfing yet. It only takes one win to force a game 7. Get to a game 7, anything can happen in a Game 7. So for you guys and us, losing this game sucks, no doubt. Yet, we're still in it.

I'm completely sick to my stomach.

Am i the only one???

I can't even believe what took place tonight. I am completely sick to my stomach.

I have watched the rangers religously for 13 years now (25 years old) and I know I have no suffered like some of you. BUT THIS WAS THE YEAR.

And if they go out like this, this hockey that we were all afraid was going to happen, which we all need to admit is happening, is happening. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS.

I know the series is not over but if they lose monday......I really don't know what I am going to do.

I am sick to my stomach.

I'm just asking this team to please not get knocked out on April 23rd two years in a row. That would be painful. I have a few observations about tonight and moving forward;

-Getting Hags back will be huge and everyone gets slotted into place.

-Neil will most likely be suspended and that could be a huge advantage.

-Anisimov started the series out great but has regressed. Him and Dubi have both been about equal. Look we saw it after 89-90 and 91-92, Rangers teams that won the Division made changes to their top 6. I love both the guys but it might be time to change something up. San Jose would be a good trading partner. Clowe is a UFA after next season. Him and Dubi trading places could be interesting, we'll see.

-I think Fasth is gonna be the best one but Oscar Lindberg MIGHT be the most important prospect to this team's future. Now before the laughing starts; he's supposed to be a faceoff guy. If he becomes the Swedish version of Blair Betts (4th liner who PKs and wins 60+% of his faceoffs) he'll be hero on here.

-Win, lose or draw, I really want them to bring in David Jones from Colorado this offseason.

This is the Rangers board MJB. You take your logic and get out!

I still think Hagelin's return will spark Gaborik and assist Richards.

So can the kreider hype train finally stop?

Kid needs a good year in the ahl next season before we even think about the nhl for him. He is about the furthest thing from nhl ready. He plays a scared game and does everything possible to not go into a position to get hit.

If you want to see someone who deserves the hype it was stone tonight who looked perfectly ready to have a regular nhl shift after leaving his junior team.

Kreider has a lot of work to be done boys.

The Rangers important season is in July, every other teams important times are in April and May. Something's not right here...

Neil isnt getting suspended. I'm tempted to dress Scott...and just send him out their with the intent of targeting Neil. Have someone else hit Neil and slow him down, and let Scott finish him off. I want that dirty POS out of the game. If the league wont do it, we need to.

See, there's your problem. This wasn't the year. Why you would think that this was the year, I really don't know, because the team clearly has major holes, and won the division, much less the conference, only because of extended time missed by Crosby and Letang.

Absolutely no reason at any point to think that this was "the year." The team shouldn't be getting eliminated in the first round of the playoffs to a worse team, but this was most certainly not "the year." Plus, look around. The best team in every Eastern series is down 3-2. **** happens.

Kreider stepped into the NHL in a playoff series, coming from a College game. He gets a pass all day imo. No NHL training camp, much shorter college schedule. The people trying to tear him apart are way off base.

did anyone notice that after Cally tried to get Greening to go after an elbow on Anisimov I think at the end of the second Neil jumps onto the ice and challenges our Captain. That needed a response.

Is it not a fair conclusion that the Rangers just cannot get it done?

Why are people talking about John Scott or what Chris Neil did or not get called for. Are some of you really that blind to the fact that the Rangers cannot get it done?

Gaborik, Richards, Dubinsky, Callahan, Anisimov all neutered tonight. Are you all okay with that?
