Game 5 was frustrating, but the series is NOT OVER, and if they get it together and win in 7 it will ultimately be an excellent step in the right direction.

The Believers Thread

Pretty simple, don't post negative, whiny comments about how the team sucks. If you want to do that, do it elsewhere .
That aside, discuss what we need to do to advance. Why we will advance, etc.

PS: The negative Nancys can join, and talk positively once they calm down

Hags-Richards-Gaborik will rekindle their late season magic.

Kreider dressing instead of Mitchell.

Those are the 2 keys to winning two in a row.

I'm sorry, I dont know how to be positive at this point in the season. This is not the 8 seed rangers, this is the 1 seed rangers.

How can you be positive at this point??? I'm not saying its over, but unless your completely new to hockey, and dont knwo what the **** is going on, how could you be positive?

Posititve: We found a PERFECT bottom pairing D with Stralman. Hopefully they can re-sign him. I think he still has room to grow and can be very reliable for this team. He can also fill in for the top 4 if needed and won't miss a beat.

They are still the one seed. Let's give them a chance to prove it. They win now it will be fun and exciting.

Really it's what Torts preaches all season long. ONE GAME AT A TIME. Win game 6 and get the game 7 back here and it's within their grasp to advance.

FACT

Completely agreed, he looked like Kesler. Disgraceful game by the captain. It's a crime that Jagr got booted out of town for his supposed lack of leadership.

Good thread!!

It's time to rally the Rangers on. Monday might be our last chance to root for our team.

Look what's happening in these playoffs. Detroit out. San Jose out. Pitt on the brink, Boston too.

Did you really think getting past the Sens would be a cake walk? This series can go either way. It's that close. And being a Rangers fan, I wouldn't want it any other way. I can imagine the exhilaration in winning game 6 and taking it home for a game 7 in the worlds greatest arena.

In 94 we won the presidents trophy and still had a rough time in the playoffs. So personally, I hope any playoff series the Rangers have,... goes 7 games and win in triple ot. But that's just me.

In the mean time enjoy the ride, and let's go Rangers! Bring it home for a game 7.

I really wanna have hope. I love some of the things going on. I love Hagelin, I love Kreider, I think McDonagh is gonna be a bleedin' superstar, and Callahan is my hero. Also, say what you will about Richards but I really think he's what this team needs going forward.

But not getting past the first round 4 years in a row (potentially) really makes me question the ability of this core and this coach to get it done when it counts. If we can't get it done when it really matters, who cares how good we get?

That's what hurts all of the positives for me.

Can we have 2 GDTs on Monday?

One for the people that gave up *cough* Machinehead *cough* (and almost everyone else)

One for the believers, so that we can talk about the game, without most of the posts being about how the team sucks

How come the Rangers can give up on the ice but I can't? That's not fair.

The team is clearly getting better but the results when the games get important is the same. We're gonna end up like the Canucks

Allright, how about this:

What if, Henrik repeats what he did in game 3, steals the game, and we head home 3-3.

Can you see the team losing a game 7?

Could I see them doing it? Yeah, unfortunately, I could.

But you bet your ass I'd be dancing in the streets on the day off in between and would feel much better.

But forget Hank stealing one, I'd really feel great if for once we just beat them. I don't' see how that's happening tbh.

How do you give up already? It's a best of 7 series, and it's 3-2. I love hockey, I love the Rangers. I know that if I come home having a bad day, I can still watch my Rangers. Win or lose, it's that suspense that you live through that whole game day, up until puck drop. Everyday the Rangers play, I just get up with excitement and just can't wait for 7pm. Win or lose, Ranger for life. that said, even if we do bow out on Monday, I'm still really proud of what this team accomplished this season. I love this team.

IF they win Game 6, what make syou totally sure of game 7? The fact that its Home? Because that has done **** for us so far. The Sens come to our House and embarrass us, its a disgrace.

Pray to the hockey Gods, because we got a steep hill to climb, and the only ones who give a **** is us fans.
