It's kinda freaky. All the series in the East are 3-2, with arguably all the underdogs leading. If Coyotes hang on, then 3 series in the West will be 4-1, with the Kings having a chance to win 4-1 also tomorrow. If the Coyotes win, then based on this trend, it's not looking good for Vancouver tomorrow.
Cheering for the Canucks to comeback against LA just because I don't want a so cal team to have bragging rights.
Cheering for a Nashville/Phoenix WCF with Phoenix moving on. Just because I think that franchise deserves it for what they've gone through.
Cheering for a Flyers Stanley Cup win because they've been knocking on the door and I'd love to see Hartnell lift the Cup finally. Also, would love to see Richards/Carter left out while Simmonds/Schenn laugh.
I don't really have a problem with any of the East teams that are leading their series right now. In the West, anybody but LA and Vancouver. Vancouver for obvious reasons. I don't have anything against LA team or fans but can't have them win the cup before us. Having Ducks fans lording their Cup over us is bad enough. Can't have both of them do it. I'm too depressed and I probably don't even wanna follow the rest of the playoffs closely but I guess I'm hopping on the Nashville bandwagon.
I predict St Louis or Nashville will bore any other Western teams into submission, bore each other to sleep in the conference finals and then lull the NHL back into the dark ages after the most boring SCF of all time against whoever comes out of the East.
For all the criticism of the Philly/Pitt series, at least it has been entertaining to watch!
