Shanahan's video on this is awful, compared to his 5 second dismissal of Neal on Couturier--"he said it was an accident, we know he has a past, but Penguins are generally honest creatures, right? I saw happy feet."

It's a complete side show and FUBAR.....I saw it last night for the first time and I couldn't stop laughing at what a double standard the guy has. I then started brooding over what Pitt could have done to Couts. I mean seriously how can Shanahan believe Neal's story about bracing himself...what a complete joke!

I could understand the "bracing" argument if he didn't go out and elbow Giroux. That removes all doubt of his intent.

This. You can't "brace for impact" in the most unstable position possible in a gravity ruled world.
I wish I had skills to put Neal's and Torres' hits split on one screen and ship it to Shanahan.
