I think we were lucky not to get any major (apparent) injuries in Round 1. I was expecting at least someone to miss time (other than Gill).

Anyway, he said, "I remember when I won my first play off series."

A few points, idiot.

First, no you don't. YOU haven't won a ******* thing you out-of-shape son of a *****. You can't even twist apart an Oreo without losing your breath...

Second, when the Wings won their first play off series they were one of six teams in the league. Oh man! Huge ****ing win there!

Third, this isn't our first play off win, you dolt.

I hope that guy decided to go to bars last night, continued to talk his pathetic game, and got his face re-arranged for it. Go home, Wings Fans. Just go home.

A few years ago I would have stayed behind to toss back a few jokes (i.e. It's ok... the Wings decided to lose because no one in Detroit can afford second round tickets, et al). Last night... brush that **** off your shoulders.

I remember when I was 20 years old and couldn't talk without eating my own shoe...
Yep, I bet it was the hair.

"I remember when I was 20 years old..." Do I need to get you a cane, old timer??

What an exciting game of which to be a part. The crowd was insane. I believe it hit 111 decibels last night. Completely unsafe for the ears, but I'm ok with it
Agreed. Throwing anything that doesn't have some sort of symbolism (rat/hat/catfish/octopi, etc) is just ignorant, even after the game is over. A couple of the "fans" after the game at the 102.5 post game show made me shake my head as well.

I don't think I've ever heard the barn that loud before. Incredible atmosphere!! How many TV timeout ovations where there? I'm thinking three, and then everyone standing for the last four minutes or so. Just outstanding!!

The first shirt I saw thrown on the ice was from a Wings fan who threw it and stomped up the isle to leave.

Yeah, I figured most of the shirts being thrown were from the RW fans who decided to come to Nashville and spend their money.

Two central teams have moved on. Anybody surprised at that? No? Didn't think so. I'm hoping for and expecting to see a central vs central conference final matchup. Just to make it completely clear which division is the best in hockey.

As much as I love a good Legwand debate, can we try to avoid it in this thread?

actually we need a reason to kill this thread so whatever

It doesn't bother you he doesn't play with the same passion in the regular season?

As I said at the beginning of the series, I expected Lewgand to turn up his compete level like he usually does in the playoffs. He had horrendous games in 2 & 3, but ended strong.

Even Radulov mentioned it in the post game interview-- when his line "plays hard" better things happen. Wonder who that was directed to, probably not Bourque.

Keep the compete level up, Legwand.
