Fleury is the best, we LOVE Fleury. - No, Fleury is a good goaltender, he's not elite, he has less than stellar stats when compared to the elite goaltenders in the league. He's also a trainwreck. He's been in the league long enough that he should be over the lack of confidence. It's time for people to realize that he's good, not great. You CAN win with him, but you can also get killled with him.
Malkin - talented player for sure....lacks discipline in a BIg way, takes suckhole, selfish penalties and makes horrible decisions at times. Lots of talent, but not a lot of brains, and teams know this.
Bylsma - refuses to take timeouts, can't coach a PP to save his life, refusal to adapt, etc, etc.
Ferraro is 100% right. If you keep cycling looking for that perfect play, the Flyers will never break their collapse. You've got to throw some misdirection their way. Throw pucks at Bryz's feet. Try to hit D-man's skates from the sidewalls. Shoot from low percentage areas.
3rd year of being bounced from the playoffs for the current regime. I don't think there is any way they can ignore that.
Making the playoffs is a success for most teams, but for a team as stacked as the Pens, a first round exit 3 years in a row should be considered a failure. 09 is a distant memory.
The only guy that even gives a **** is Neal. Sid and Geno are worthless this game. Our d sucks. And Fleury is again showing why he's a bottom 5 goalie
I'm pretty sure that they realize that they really only need to focus on Sid and Geno. You have 3 guys covering Sid and Geno b/c the Pens feel that they only need 3 great centers and one good winger. Pretty easy decision to make for the Flyers coach.

Yeah we can't do dick on offense and the whole team looks like they'd rather go home at this point, but it's all Fleury's fault. That's fine. Makes it easier for me to pick out the short-sighted posters who don't have much of a clue. Fleury's absolutely at fault, but come on this team has been a joke most of this series. He's one of a laundry list of things that should've been much better in this series. If people can't see that well, that's why they're stupid.

It's his job to stop the puck and to give the team a chance to win games. He isn't doing that, obviously. Clearly the whole team has problems, but you have to realize that goaltending has been the #1 issue in this series.
I mean, if Bryzgalov wasn't almost as bad as Fleury this series would have been over in 4.
Well so much for the window. It is amazing how many players are playing with little to no desperation. Maybe too much of a country club atmosphere where players feel entilted. But overall a good year, but still they underachieved.
I think that hit from Geno last game messed Sid up. He has looked awful ever since.
I hope that's his excuse. I know Sid-bashing is off limits but he's had the majority of a season off. He should be flying out there. He looks as dead and withered as the rest of them.
