It really is amazing how much Coburn has come into his own the last half of the season and this playoffs. He's looking the defenseman he was drafted and projected to be. He's looking like pronger lite out there. He always seems to be in position.

I am proud to say I've always been a Coburn fan boy and a supporter, defending him at times I probably shouldn't have. But he's been proving me right the last 4 months!

I think he had like 2.20-ish when I checked, maybe they hadn't gotten it sorted out. You might be right.

I agree dude. Coburn had to step up for this team to make the playoffs and he has thrived in that role. I want to see Him with an A one day.

I've said it before... but I think the extension, and having his kid, has put his mind in the right place. And as we all know, he has all the physical skill in the world, can skate incredibly, can be immense in the corner and in front of the net, can hit big, clear the zone, start the play out of the zone, and put the puck on net hard.

It was always his head letting him down, but that seems to have changed for the good part of this year.

He is also an ironman... like 5 games missed since he joined us!?

As long as he keeps the pinches to a min...however on that goal Pitt scored he did back up too much and didn't challenge. One instance where he needed to apply more pressure...

Even if the rebound control looks a little bit iffy at times, this is definitely a step forward for Bryzgalov so far as well.

Kubina only has 3 minutes TOI, what a disastrous trade that was.

Agree I that he's been fantastic the last four months! I have to admit that I've had my doubts about him. Ive thought that he's been too soft etc. But all this has changed lately.
