Honestly, after the Pens beat us in 09, part of me thought that we would never be on the Penguins level. I thought to myself that the duo of Malkin and Crosby would always have our number. This team has changed a lot since then, but I never saw this coming. To beat these guys so thoroughly and absolutely get under their skin makes me so incredibly happy.

Not done yet though. The East has a chance to be weak. Gotta take advantage. We can beat anyone.

Carle and Gus were the best defenders. Kubina barely playing which showed Lavy knows what the hell he is doing. There is only so much "veternship" can bring to a team.

Overall the defense was better (like 40 blocked shots), as well as the G line was on fire all game.
