Agreed with the bold, I think he has the potential of being a great match for Spezza, hopefully he continues to gain confidence and the coaches confidence so he can make it happen.

I think playing with the lead is probably the best thing to get Spezza going, as the Rangers will have to open up offensively giving him more room to operate, but some more skill on his wings (specifically the right wing) would help.

Right. That's why he was taking warmups in game 4. Ridiculous comment.

Yeah you'd think he warmed up in game 4 and skated before game 5 and Stone played go figure ..

Not ridiculous the proof is he wasnt needed in game 4 or 5 ..they took a guy that played WHL over him

Hoffman/Stone/Silfverberg are all better options than Butler. If you don't see it than, lol.

It's not just about jump. You have to look at necessities. Stone and Silfverberg provide 2 really skilled players on the PP that provide, shot, size, IQ. Butler doesn't.

Stone made the PP last night flow much better. You could see the players felt more confident going down low when he'd circle around attracting the defenders towards him. He also drove the net multiple times and made a pass that Butler couldn't dream of doing.

He'll only play if there are injuries on LW. He's not taking Foligno or Greening out of the line up. Stone got an opportunity with a RW spot opened up.

Personally, I'd rather have Hoffman than Daugavins, but they'd probably have similar impacts. Hoffman would bring some extra punch to the PP, Daug the PK.

Maclean has to get a look at Silf before we start slotting him into the line up. Its hard to gauge where he'll fit into the line up. Obviously the Murrays want him in there but its ultimately Mac's decision at this point.

LW - Silfverberg Greening Folingo Condra
RW - Milo Stone Alfie Neil

Mac isnt going to pass on talent and chance to win for players that play a energy game

Y'all are fools for wanting to take out Jim O'Brien. He has been a PK beast for us.

The only one coming out will be Butler. I'd like to see both Silfverberg and Stone in, keep Stone on the 4th and give him some PP time and make him play on the 1st sometimes, and I'd try Silfv on the 1st with Milan and Spezz, kids dream of things like these it's some "good" pressure. Maclean also showed last night he had balls! inserting a 19 y/o in the line-up for his 1st NHL game!! so I think there's a chance we see Silfv but not a big one, my lines would be

Michalek-Spezza-Silfverberg/
Foligno-Turris-Alfie/Silfverberg (if he's good to go)
Greening-Smith-Neil
Konopka-O'brien-Condra (I never want to see Condra near Spezza again.)

If Alfie can't play put Stone on the 1st and Silfverberg on the 2nd, Butler just doesn't get it even tough he knows the system and everything, he's soft and useless

Would be a perfect player to have. Puck possession, skill, defensively responsible. We would be a better team if he was healthy.

Just wanted to say this. I've never been high on O'Brien before, but I've been very impressed lately. He's pretty good on the face-off dot and excellent on the PK. Plus that drop pass to Turris..

Bottom 6 both 4th line players thats up to Mac

What im getting at is we finally Top 6 ..Alfie Spezza Turris Milo Stone Silfverberg ...

Take the rest and make a solid bottom 6 and this team will and can go deep ..

Thats what we all want no point in downgrading are young future talent in Stone and Silfverberg saying there not ready cause they are

What I'd like to see for game 6:

Michalek-Spezza-Stone
Silfverberg-Turris-Alfie
Foligno-Smith-Neil
Greening-Konopka-O'Brien

What it will be for game 6:

Michalek-Spezza-Butler
Foligno-Turris-Alfie
Greening-Smith-Neil
O'Brien-Konopka-Condra

The bottom 6 has been winning us games. Huge PKs and bigger goals. Its important and shouldn't be ignored. I don't know if we'll see both Stone and Silf in the same game. Also, if we're talking top 6 guys, Foligno needs to be there. He's been great in this series with Turris.

Stone played what, 9 minutes last night? Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I think Foligno has been one of if not our best forwards these playoffs, working really well down low and playing in your face style, Foligno doesn't move

All depends what they wanna do with Stone and Alfies status

If they think he is ready ..Folingo can play both bottom and top 6

But Silfverberg takes spezza or turris wing for sure
