If we didn't have such a gifted, young group of centres already, I'd love to have Staal onboard.
Love this team and if Grossman and Mez come back next series they are only going to get better. My only question is how soon does the doom and gloom crowd rear its head next series? If it is the Rangers we play next, my guess is very soon. Any other team and I think the Flyers get at least a one game cushion before the sky starts falling.
Lavy should have taken a time out with 60 seconds or less in the game, then say nothing to the team
He did take a troll timeout..it was great and I was hoping he would do it to troll back Bylsma for his obvious troll when they were up 10-3 with a minute or so to go. But yeah in the timeout he should have done what Bylsma did....just grab a water bottle take a cocky swig and look over at him....
Remember Gustafsson's goal? That was my favorite goal of the series. A microcosm of how the series went for the Pens. A true classic of a series.
For me it was the frist shift of this game. What a statement made by Giroux. All year long Lavi put the kids in pressure situations and now it is paying off.
