It seems from most of these posts in this thread it sounds as if this Ranger team on offense is a bunch of High School players.. sheesh...
This team was 13th in the NHL is goals scored throughout the 82 game NHL season while playing a shut down tight defense first system. That is impressive considering this is not a run and gun type system.
They are just running into a hot goalie in Anderson who is carrying his team and making the clutch saves at the clutch moments.

I don't know man. I think I could pull it off. Of course we'll never know. Or bring in all the players Moms and Grandmothers (In Callahan's case) and just have them look really sad and say "Can you win for us please? Don't make us cry." Something along those lines.

daydreaming line combos with a coach like Torts is a fruitless endeavor, because the team needs to be up 6-0 for him to stick with the lines he rolled in the previous practice.
At this point, I wouldnt be surprised if he had 20 different line combos before game 6 is over.
