Everybody chill. It was just one period. There was hardly any good scoring chances by either team.

Kings went down 1-0 in Vancouver against the Canucks in game 1 also. We know how that one turned out.

Leave it to the Kings to give life to a team that had its back against the wall and was down 3-0 in the series. Judging from their play, it looks like Vancouver is ready to advance and the Kings are ready to hit the golf course.

Look at St. Louis the other night. That was a team closing out a series with confidence. They just played their game, and didn't wait for San Jose to react.

All season the Kings have done this. When they have the lead they play not to lose. They react to the team they are playing rather then just continuing to play their game. It's execution. Think back to the last period of game 2 when the Kings were up by 2, yet they decided to honestly let Vancouver pressure them for 5 minutes straight.

It's tiresome to watch a team play not to lose rather then just play their game start to finish.
The Blues are going to win the Cup, I had them as my pick since Jan.

Hitch has them playing Cup hockey.

They concern me the most as well. I know we have a winning record against them but they're a very tough matchup for us imo.

The Kings have played the same apathetic hockey for 2+ games now. They deserve what's going to happen to them.

I just don't understand how someone can play like MR did in Game 1 and follow it up with so many duds. Guy was the best player on the ice in Game 1.

Right, but we were up 3-0, we ARE up 3-1.

We have beat these guys legitimately 3 times in the series, and 2 times during the regular season.

I dont care about seeding at this point. These guys CAN play, and they HAVE played at various times this year. Guys like Richards, Carter, Williams...they have to step up right now and stop playing the series as passengers. It looks to me like our big players are hoping someone else steps up and we win rather then taking it by the throat.

It's just my opinion, and all credit to Vancouver for coming on strong, but I just get tired of watching us play not to lose rather than play to win.

That game was tied after one.

Kings were the 8th seed for a reason. Canucks have upped their game and the Kings have no answer.

Kings won't win until Doughty gets his offense back.

It's like all of a sudden the Kings realized "Oh **** we are one game away from winning this series. Well, let's play real conservative and not make any mistakes."

There goes your offense.
You realize SJ was up a goal after two last night?

Please tell me what the Kings are doing positively that gives you any reason to believe they'll turn it around.

I would give the nux the credit rather than to blame MR.

And St. Louis never faltered in playing their brand of hockey. It's why they are a favorite.

Hitchcock is considered an incredibly tough coach to play for because he MAKES YOU buy in and play his game 100% of the time, or you don't play.

The only thing I don't like that Mike has been doing is; throwing the puck into bodies giving up possession way to easy.

He steals it from his own defenseman and then gives a pathetic soft push to a Canuck...
