Gets a bit boring when your team isn't in the playoffs, and done the mock drafts already so.. Oh well get the time to pass

I would add Detroit to Suter's list, take Vokoun off of NJD, I thought Stuart wanted to go out west? Brodeur and Lidstrom I would take off retire, I think they are both coming back unless they win the Stanley Cup.

Schneider I would say will sign with Vancouver, whether he gets traded in the off season as well though I do not know.

I would add Detroit to Parise's list too, and Stuart does want to go out west.

Parise to Buffalo - 12 years - 70 million(we have the richest owner in the NHL)
Plus Drew Stafford is Zach Parise's BFF I am sure it helps...

I love how Colorado is not on any list for any of these guys..

We are not EDM.. and we are close to being where the Hawks were before they signed Hossa..

I think Colorado could be just as much of a competitor with Parise, Suter & Semin as any other team. Especially considering our needs and the amount of cap flexibility we have.

That does not even take into account that we have players they are familiar with or have directly played with as well as being one of the few teams that could afford as much as all three and still sign our core.

But hey.. Discount the Avs and watch us get one two or all three of them about a week after July 1st. (I will save you some time.. Yes I am a homer like any good fan of their team should be.)

For everyone talking about Suter going to Detroit... I get it.. They have the cap space and reputation but they also have an aging roster. So Suter signs a 8 year contract with DET and 3 years later is on a team that has just about every major player retiring. Do you think any smart GM wouldn't throw that out there?

And Suter is not going to turn Detroit back into the top team in the league again by himself. It's not as if Suter was lights out better than Lidstrom this year.

Suter / NSH
Parise / COL
Semin / COL (This is the most likely of the forwards to land in COL)
Carle/ Jackman / or another D / COL

The rest? TO THE LEAFS!! At least that's what I keep hearing..

I beg to differ you also have a lot committed to your roster next year as well. And Stastny is one of Parise's BFFS as well! SO THERE! They are like Silver medal close baby..

The Hawks made it to the Western Conference Finals the year before they signed Hossa. If the Hawks hadn't made any noise in the playoffs that year I don't think Hossa would have signed.

First off....I'm not sure what to say about them playing "circle jerk" but I may see you in a new light after that......

But beyond being creeped out, I think the sabres may be attractive to parise, and if they decide to chase him, they have a better chance then a few other teams who tend to be bottom dwellers in this league.

Dallas has the money! They will go after Parise as well as a #1 defenseman!

Colorado's owners are wealthier and have more money than Buffalo and Pegula.

But it is doubtful that that they pursue Suter and/or Parise given the current organizational plan.

I could see a bit of interest in semin from VAN if he comes at a decent price.

Semin: No idea. But he'll get an NHL contract.
Parise: NJD
Doan: PHX
Suter: NSH/DET
Jagr: PHI
Vokoun: CBJ -- This one is probably the one that has people scratching their heads, but Vokoun loves Ohio and approach the jackets last year.
Smyth: EDM
Stuart: DET
Lidstrom: Retire/DET
Brodeur: NJ / Retire
