Goalie face washing, do the goalies here find it disrespectful?

It was totally unprofessional and I shouldn't have done it but it was so epic
Liam McAllistar?

He only hits it away when he's been scored on I did it to a U18 goalie which makes it worse, but still not as bad as you flipping off the fans

I don't think you understand what a surfacing machine dose. I would not call running a zamboni over the ice "Cleaning"

Completely agree. Do you see the dirt that is on the zam's tires?

Not a fan of the feeling of being snowed but the annoyance is minor at best and does not affect my game. As well will never give someone the satisfaction of a reaction to this type of bush league moves.

To be honest I don't really care, there is dirt and germs everywhere. Used to get my body (including face) covered in mud playing soccer and rugby as a kid, that's no different.

It is different unless you change the word "Mud" to POOP and "soccer and rugby" to in the toilet.

Well, then, would you not find it somewhat annoying if, while playing soccer, someone intentionally kicked mud into your face and possibly into your eyes, nose and mouth?

Oh, and just so we're clear here......running a lawnmower over a grass field doesn't clean it.

I've already said if someone does it intentionally just to be a dick then it's not acceptable.

Do it to me once, you'll get a stink-eye and maybe a few words of warning. Do it to me twice and I take a whack at the back of the knees. It doesn't tend to happen a third time.

I've dealt with goalies like you all my life. Guess who else has no padding on the back of their legs Guess who can't use their blocker to throw a punch unless they want to give me a powerplay & watch the rest of the game from the stands

Best part of feuding with a goalie... You always know where to find them

Exactly I was like that throughout my junior career. I always wanted to be the psycho most feared goalie, then as soon as I was 18 playing against adults I stopped. I remember in my first adult game leaving my crease after an altercation to join a scrum of players and a massive guy on the other team held me back, gave me a really scary look and said "where do you think you're going?" I've never stepped a foot out of line since, only chirping from the safety of the bench when I'm backing up

Better believe it's disrespectful....

When players did it to me, I'd knock them off balance and put them on their a s s either right then or next opportunity by jamming my stick against their skates blades. If it escalated, I introduced them to my blocker, right in the throat.

Yes it's disrespectful. My response is always to laugh at them, though. It's a silly thing skaters do to try to put someone off their game. My job, I figure, is to not let that happen.

Not cool.

If you do it intentionally I slash ankles as with all the might in my body.
